If you are WP, they may not see the need.Interesting they're only offering this in CBR... was certainly not offered this at BNE/MEL on any of my flights recently.

Same in BNE last night, really attentive staff there. Very impressed. There is an upside. Staff have been taking friendly pills. Or perhaps friendly training. Three personal greetings fron glass picker uppers in one visit. Nice.
The space J lounge is smaller than the QP and would've made for a cramped QP when full. The CL occupies a similar space as the QP to the left of the escalators, and no way would Qantas have put the CL facing the car park, *especially* in Canberra!
Not much changed in MEL J lounge. I was told the ceilings were painted and some upgrades were made in the kitchen.
Nothing that meets the eye.
I think that's a given.. It's just a pity QF had to lie about it.. I doubt many would care if it was explained the lounge was closed due to lower numbers and giving more people time off over Christmas.
Wouldnt that require the lounges to be closed for maintenance? Not much changed in MEL J lounge. I was told the ceilings were painted and some upgrades were made in the kitchen.

What is this "J" lounge you all speak of?
We poor Westerners know of no such thing.
Westerners are not alone - Adelaide, Darwin and Hobart all miss out as well.
What surprised me in Perth QP over the weekend was that the wine is no longer self serve - neither was the ham for a toasted sandwich, it was rationed out by a staff member behind the counter
