There's good news for those looking to stay at the Novotel or Mecure, Accor are about to have a sale in about 3 weeks time. Le Club members can access the sale from 19/11 for 40% and non-members can access the sale from 25/11 for 30% off. The sale runs till 29/11.

The bad news, it's only valid for stays from 15/12... I guess it's good for anyone looking to stay after the train ride for a getaway in CBR.

Update to penegal's pose (#122). There's a couple of discrepancies but that might be because of the way I interpreted someone's plat colours. I took announcements of any flights or hotels booked to mean that they are platinum (even if it isn't correct like serfty's case IIRC). Anyway if anything is wrong please correct.

I'll probably go to central. ISTR the train is leaving central at 10:20. Possibly time to swing past circular quay for those arriving before 9am.

Pick Up at Wolli Creek on the airport line.
Run via the coast line to Moss Vale then back onto the main south to Goulburn.
This route might change but the departure time should remain unchanged.

At $20 each the a limo is a bit rich for me. A taxi to central should be about $30 or $40 max, 3 or 4 sharing makes it cheaper than the train. I guess a taxi to Wolli creek is going to be pretty cheap as well if shared.

Train to Wolli creek is quickest. Could do the $5 terminal transfer by train to international and then walk from there.

All of a sudden I see us gathering at each gate as each flight disembarks holding "WELCOME TO BAM1748 2013" signs and whatnots like those families in movies and then making mad dashes between T2 and T3 as flights from VA/JQ and QF land.

Not a problem, it's not hard to check a schedule, and helps everyone see if anyone is heading to the airport at the same time or catching the same flights.
