BAM1748 - How are we going with numbers ? I was thinking of bringing along +2 , my Dad & brother , as they have & currently work on the railways & I think would really enjoy a trip like this . If numbers have reached capacity then i will hold of on any extended invite.

I'll be bringing all 3

iPhone for panoramas.
EOS-M with 22 F2 for in the carriage.
EOS 5D with 100 F2.8L Macro (and teleconverter 2x) for anything outside the carriage.

on the return trip to SYD , i might actually knock over my first and maybe only ATR flight ...just to say I've done it

Have booked VA647 (depart 13.05) back to SYD...my "Virgin" flight on an ATR.

I'm on VA 815 arriving SYD T2 8:55am, returning via SYD, likely from CBR at 01:05pm (cracking my ATR Virginity).

Ok, ATR deflowering confirmed - see you there ...

I flew VA647 on an ATR on 14 October so I've already deflowered it (or should that be the other way around?)... In case you're not aware, boarding and disembarking is through the rear door only. And brace yourself for a bumpy approach into SYD!

I am having a bad day or maybe my sanity or good sense is catching up with me.

What the hell was I thinking that I can fly from Perth and back in less than 40 hours without it costing the earth.

I found some ways to save a bit of money but still its around $1,000 in cost or mixture in points and cash that I really don't have.

So you have to remove me from the confirmed list. I still have seat 3A on the 7:30am MEL-SYD flight that I can't even cancel.

Maybe next time.

Am i stretching the numbers , if this becomes gwilli1 + 3 ? My nephew got wind of this through his dad (my bro) and has asked if it was possible to go . I have made no promises & told him i would ask how the numbers are going . Have we reached our maximum yet ? Are there others that have shown interest (i.e. silver/gold) and yet to confirm , as I would see theses as having a priority to get on board .
