Applied yesterday afternoon. Got two email confirmations that my application has been received. No approval sms or email yet.

Edit: just got SMS saying it’s been approved. That was quick.

Applied Friday Avo. Due to the tech issue with Chrome. Unable to upload payslip and employment letter. Load up at Saturday, called Citi Monday afternoon and load Visa information. Approved Tuesday , surprised they are working on Melbourne Cup day.

I just got my approval emails and texts. Applied late Friday night and approved this morning!

Where exactly does it say this on your account? Was a bit concerned as I couldn’t see the Qantas word listed on mine last I checked. And how often are your points being (incorrectly) updated, if you don’t mind me asking?
Also sure I’ll sort it out either way, with or without many frustrating phone calls along the way...

Log into the Citi app and it should say it as a title

Mine says Citi Rewards Signature Card under “my settings” but “Citi Signature Qantas Card” under “rewards”.

Does anyone know if Citi allows us to add the card to Apple Pay without receiving the actual physical card yet?

Great deal now that the fee has gone to 0. Will be applying in a month or two.
As per previous posts, I don't believe holding a Velocity Flyer will impact on my eligibility for the bonus points.

My experience: applied last Friday. Approved Wednesday. Concurrently holding a normal citibank signature rewards card. Been told am still eligible to get the bonus qff points.

A few tips:
1 - if you get $0 fee first year, you've applied for the qantas card, as the normal signature currently only have reduced first year fee, not fee free.

2 - Before put spending on the card, call up citibank to confirm the account is correctly enrolled into qff program. Mine didn't. Can use online chat to check for enrollment as well.

3 - There's also 0% bt for 15mth on offer for the qff card. Which can be organised after card approval, and citi used to have an option for cheque to self for bt. I haven't checked if that's still available. Note no free interest days for purchases if you have active bt balance.

You need the credit card number for Apple Pay

I just received my card - weird it’s called a signature premier card with no reference to qantas ! When calling Citibank they say it’s the 150,000 points one , but no reference to a premier card on any of their documentation .
Why isn’t the 150,000 points offer part of the paperwork they send - all I’ve got is the add I clicked on before application

You can unmask the card number in the Citibank online portal.
But Apple Pay needs the expiry and CVV number. Oh well just have to wait a few days for the card itself.

It's not uncommon for generic paperwork to be sent, it's not just citibank that does this.

My QFF number is now showing up in my Citibank online account.

However, the “frequent flyer name” under modify details is showing a random string of my name: LAST NAME,FIRST NAME,DR

Should I amend it to the correct name as per my Qantas FF account? Or it doesn’t matter?

Wow, just checked mine after reading your post and found my frequent flyer details were missing. Have updated the number and name via the website.

very easy, might as well correct any errors just to be safe.

Be careful with this because Citi don't necessarily transpose the details to QF as you see them - I found out the hard way. I don't think it's a random string of your name at all. The format you've shown is what I've got and if IIRC, that format is what worked for me last time after much changing, waiting and watching. Even when I called Citi and asked them to check, they said it was fixed, only to find it was wrong and then I had to wait another month for the points to post. It's an excruciating process but it will eventually work.

Oops too late now. I just changed it to the normal way ie First name Middle Name Last Name as they appear in my QF account.

I don’t understand the original format which included DR in the end. I’ve never chosen that in the application form.

On the app, mine also only says "Citi Rewards Signature Card", and under rewards tab in small font it says “Citi Signature Qantas Card”; not even entirely clear if that's my product or if that's another offer.

To share my experience,

On the desktop site's "reward tab" - "rewards home" shows nothing significant there or any activity in the other tabs.
When I hit "modify Details", it shows in red letters "Please provide your Qantas Frequent Flyer membership details". BUT in here, it does pre-fill my correct FF number so they did receive it. It also shows my name in the same strange format you mentioned (LAST,FIRST,MR).

Do I assume it got stuck processing, and I need to hit submit on that page as-is; or am I good, and it's matter of waiting until statement date? I've been using the card for 2 weeks now. Haven't got charged for the $49 Qantas fee either.

Hi All
Thinking about applying for this card ( despite having to deal with the citi gobblegook). Question, would it be best just to take the 100k & run once allocated or do you think it’s worth hanging around & paying the $400+ to get the extra 50k of points ? I’m leaning with the former & then move onto the next card.

That's what I would do (and will do, if I'm approved when I apply later in the week). $444 for 50,000 points works out to 0.888 ¢/point, which is pretty meh. Then consider that it's tying up at least $15,000 of your total credit limit, and that so many things don't earn points.

m not planning on paying the second year fee unless it’s waived which I am doubtful it would be.

For those who have had this card for a while and have successful earned QFF points, can you please tell me the format of your name in the Citibank online portal under “Rewards > Modify details”?

I’ve changed my QFF name back to LAST NAME,FIRST NAME,MR

But this doesn’t completely match my QFF account which has it as
First name Middle name Last name

I’m asking as I‘m afraid that the QFF will not be credited because the names on the two accounts don’t match.
