My annual fee was refunded yesterday (8 days after I rang CBA to complain that I had not received either the points or the fee refund despite it being well over 90 days since my annual fee was charged and since I met the spend requirement).

Hopefully the points will appear on the next statement.

i received my 40K bonus points yesterday after a similar delay, so I rang to cancel the card on the grounds that the earn rate on the card was not competitive enough and that there were far better fee-free / bonus points promotions out there. The operator offered a one off 5K point bonus or an additional point per dollar spent for next three months to keep the card open. I accepted the offer !

This will delay the closure of this card for another three months.

That's awesome Sheriff! Will try that.

My refund and points have not been credited yet so I called yesterday to complain and was advised that it would be around 8-10 business days - which sounds on track with posts here.

I know this offer has expired. But has anyone seen any new replacement offerings from Cth Bank? They don't seem to offer as frequently as some of the other banks.

I too had to call to get the bonus points, as well as the refund. They had to launch an 'investigation' after which today's phone call confirmed that the points would be credited to my account in the next few days and then transfer to Qantas on 20 October. The refund of the annual fee will occur this weekend - I think with the next statement run??

Thanks Radio8tiv. Seems slightly better than the previous offer:

'An annual opt-in fee (currently $10, $30 from 2 November 2015) applies. This will be refunded for the first year within 90 days of card approval.'

The $10 wasn't refunded before was it?

No it wasn't refunded.

I applied only 3 or so months ago.

I can't see anything in the T&C's that exclude people that took up the last offer. I've received my points from the last offer. Might have to cancel and reapply.

Having a very careful read seems to suggest you wouldn't even need to wait to cancel to take it up again... the only bit that could be interesting is the 'Not available in conjunction with any other offer' and how they chose to interpret that. I'm still waiting for points to post (had to call up and have been promised them next statement) so will be watching carefully here to see what people do.

Might not be anything specific. But they aren't obliged to accept your new application.

Yes, I thought the same.

It's likely that the massive stuff up from ANZ last year (Which many of us - including myself benefited from) has sent a message to other banks to put something in place to ensure the same thing doesn't happen to them.

I don't think CBA care about existing accounts, or at least they didn't up until September. Already held other credit cards with CBA when I took this offer up first time around as well as a few months ago. No issues with the first promotion. This time around the points are yet to post after 4 months but I've been assured that the promotion was applied to my newest account so we shall see...

Just applied. Conditionally approved.

Have uploaded my payslips twice now but still getting a 'documents needed message'. There doesn't appear to be any record of my documents already being uploaded to their system.
