Current Qantas First Lounge Menu (SYD/MEL) and relevant topics

Oh, QR code not QR coded flight…..😁.

But I do recall there still being a QR code to order food in the BA F Lounge a few months ago.
I was talking about a few years ago. The QR code system in the lounge looks fairly new.

Thanks. Giving LHR a miss for several years now. Leaving UK from other airports.
OT, but as a OWE, departing LHR T5 is relatively pleasant. Alas, the BA F lounge isn’t up there with QF F lounges but fine stepping stone to a mainland port for the long haul flights home.

You are correct if London is your primary departure point, as once upon a time it was for me, but if you have connecting flights and need to negotiate the terminals, it can be challenging.

It depends who you know
As does everything in life.
Eg. Having S&P Squid and the Pav served in the SYD Domestic J Lounge as has happened to me.

For the purposes of an Internet forum the answer remains that the menu in the F/CL/P1 area is not served to the general public in there on request.
If yourself or @Beano can pull a favour good on you.

Keeping my fingers crossed, if I can remember?

But then the SYD Domestic J lounge is a long way from the INT lounge or perhaps they are served in the CL?

As far as I am aware they can vary the meals, but only if the components are in the relevant menu.

I presume just QF First?
To answer my own question, unless anyone else has actual experience to suggest otherwise, yes it appears that travel-class eligibility for the roped-off section and special menu is just for QF First.

Passengers on other OneWorld First flights aren't included in the special list.

I'm there again in a couple of weeks flying BA First (solo rather than with my family this time), will see if that holds true.

I believe it is only QF F/ CL/P1 that are seated in that area. Other F pax not eligible.

Please report back from your visit.

Mr Katie visited SYD FLounge yesterday and rated the Korean Fried Chicken as "could eat several plates".

His Mum responded to his social media post with "leaves Camp Hill pub in the shade". 🤣

He could have. They don't care what you eat.

He knows. I think he figured it was a bit too early to be carb loading for his 150km ride on Saturday. :D
I must admit I have never asked for two or more of the same, but there is always a first time.
