Current Qantas First Lounge Menu (SYD/MEL) and relevant topics

Yes Beano - but looked very basic based from what I saw on the shelf behind the bar. Chivas Regal - so no good for @kermatu or me 😀
The real test is MEL F which at least used to have several very good top shelf spirits. But I'd be very surprised if they are rolled out while the lounge is operating with such broad access eligibility.

Hoping to get into Q MEL F next week but will be a morning flight. If no Q flight then will be AIR NZ lounge. That's if they are open!

You are all being very cruel to me with enticing tails of the QF lounges, even if they are not quite the same. I have not been able to travel to Australia since May 2021, and I can't afford, timewise, a two week, now one week, stay in MIQ on my return, even if I could get a place. I am so looking forward later next year to things opening up. I have a European trip to plan. Figures crossed!

I wonder how long Neil Perry's contract is going to last .
I find his business class meal offerings underwhelming to say the least.
I have to agree with an earlier poster who likened Perry's salad offerings to "grass clippings"!

That's a pretty underwhelming F lounge menu. Both food and wine. Heck, it's even an underwhelming QP wine list.
It’s effectively a J lounge at the moment with the international J lounge closed and QF not selling F at the moment.

So it’s very good for a J lounge, but underwhelming for F with a limited range and missing things like duck etc. from the menu.

The wine list is ok for domestic J lounges, not even for Int J let alone F. I’m not holding my breath for QF to make significant improvements in the F lounge wine menu once Int J reopens.
