Is it my imagination or did they just change the name on the menu fro Autumn to Winter?
Does look very similar. My memory may be faulty, but in more recent years pre-COVID I recall some new season dishes being gradually introduced into the previous seasonal menu.

When I first had access to the Lounges a few years back there used to be a pretty definite change of menus between seasons (other than the standard squid, burger, steak etc), which I appreciated.

That's my recollection too. Oh well, at least it's still table service.

What time does the all day menu come into effect? I'm taking my mate who will be experiencing the F lounge for the first time and I want him to try the salt and pepper squid but we'll be leaving the lounge around 9am for QF121.

Sorry, starts at 11am. I've been there at 9 am and no S & P squid. You could ask?

Ooh, I can, actually, but I was focussing on the overall scene, not just the food!! :P

In the Mel lounge and can recommend the warm beetroot and green bean salad, barramundi with red curry butter and the egg plant with peperonata and pickled zucchini.

I'm going to be controversial here. I was in the MEL F lounge on Sunday. I had the salt and pepper squid. I've had it a few times previously too. It is the most over-rated dish. There is nothing particularly great about it.

I'm now donning an asbestos suit ready to be flamed.

You are fine posting that here.

The Qantas Salt & Pepper Squid thread has plenty of coughpy S&PS examples, not appreciated by the diner! Join the club :) .
