Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Wooden cases always mean quality, don't they?????

That's what they like you to believe.
I did bought some (not this Zalinga) that came with wooden cases ( not BIG enough to fit a human :)) and impressed.
Even have straws inside. Of course I kept my pricey bottles in those cases. The rest in their own paper cases.

This Zalinga is meant to impress. It's for the Chinese market.

So again I would like to pose the question ......... 'Has any AFFer received any specific benefit as a result of them joining the My Dan Murphy's'?

From Winemarket: $13.25 from $40

[h=2]New Vintage Of A Barossa Champion![/h] - And the 2012 is even better than the best-selling ’11!
You'll be truly kicking yourself if you miss this one.
We can't tell you what it is just yet – which is why we can do such an insane deal on a medal winning Barossa Shiraz normally worth $40 a bottle.
It won Gold in San Diego, PLUS Blue Gold in Sydney last year, one of the most prestigious shows on earth and one of the very few that judge wine alongside food.
If your idea of vinous satisfaction is working your way through a bottle of plush, opulent Barossa shiraz then here’s a mystery you’ll be keen to solve.
We want to sell you something we know is right up your alley – a beautiful Barossa Shiraz that draws on some of the Valley’s finest viticultural resources to deliver all the plummy, chocolatey, earthy gorgeousness that are hallmarks of the style.
And we want you to take our word that its as good as it is because if we just came out and told everyone what it was the small parcel that we have we be snapped out in a flash and we’d have more frustrated customers than happy ones.
A much loved top–shelf label by WineMarketeers and those in the know. This is good to cellar until at least 2020 and already has a few years in the bottle.
A real treat, this one. Take as many as you can fit in the cellar!
[h=3]The Bottom Line[/h]
  • Gold Medal at the San Diego International Wine Competition
  • Blue Gold Medal at the Sydney International Wine Competition
  • Don't pay $40 a bottle - now just $13.25 a bottle!
  • A whopping $321 OFF RRP!
  • 5 Red Star Halliday rated winery
  • Small parcel available - don't delay!
  • Mystery Barossa Valley Shiraz 2012 (12 Bottles)

Not a bad price for the Heirloom Shiraz. Would be even better with a $50 winemarket voucher.

Nope....

Seems like a waste of time thusfar.

I'm not sure, are the "member exclusive" offers open to all or just members? Like the '06 St Heni + Chris Ringland Reservation deal for $99.

Now that you mention it, I couldn't see the St Henri offer talked about.
Maybe as you said for members only.

I've been at Dans and the checkout lady asked if I had a Dans card and I got further reductions off some of my purchases.
For members only.

I asked today. There is a tiny specials board at the front of the store - quick glance confirmed is was far from special, I think it changes weekly. Apparently there is a monthly member special however, she wasn't very clear how one could access this.

I get weekly emails from DM .... if the monthly special is buried in one of them I haven't noticed.

This has happened several times since I have had the Dans card.
About a month ago it was on a six pack of Matilda Bay pale ale beer. Got $10 off (this was not one of the docket offers).
And also a wine deal but I cannot remember which wine.

on Friday I bought a six pack of Matsos Mango beer and got $4.90 off. Original price $19.90

When you access DM online at top left page is 2 options, Dan Murphy's and My Dan Murphy's. You will see your member offers by clicking on My DM.

Took up the Chris Ringland offer, buy 6 CR and free Reservation. In fact doubled up. Also recently bought the Wolf Blass Grey Label shiraz and Seppelt Chalambar 2008. Offers were sent by email. Unsure if publicly available. Bought sampler 6 pack of reds on Friday in store at Noosaville and received further discount on presentation of my DM card. This was beyond the discount for buying 6. Didn't analyse receipt unfortunately.

Sed were those offers specific to My Dan's members? Were not the Grey Label and Chalambar offers just up on site for all?
