I had the same argument with the good doctor. If it doesn't come from "Halliday 5 star winery" it's all horrible, apparently.

I like plenty of wines that don't carry the biggest accolades, wine is open to interpretation and sadly, keyboard warriors are allowed to say what they please.

Got sent an Innocent Bystander $50 voucher; contemplating whether we need more wine given how much we bought on our weekend visit. Giant Steps Pinot at $20/bottle was too good to pass up.

Exactly - and as I have stated previously - this thread is meant to be a thread where members post 'Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals' - I posted a deal I saw at Dan's - I did not seek any advice - I will not debate / argue or whatever with any member in this thread.

DM's has got the Penfolds Bin 150 Marananga Shiraz for $60 a bottle online only special (down from $75). I haven't yet had this ... anyone tried this or previous vintages?
They also have the 2009 Grange on sale for $599. Sadly no RWT discount yet Cruiser ...

I've had the 2010. Paid around $50 for it. Thought it was OK. Not something special. BIN 389 is probably better value, but the BIN 150 is something that many will not have had.

I remember you snapped a bargain....again. I was driving thru the kew store with nothing to do, and picked up a Red Hill Estate 2013 pinot.....I would love to get your thoughts on it as I was suitably impressed. It was on tasting with a penfolds koonunga s/c which was o.k., but the pinot for about $14 was good......
