Nothing new beyond the timelinesGuessing no one's gotten any more info regarding their new Latitude card yet?
That sounds like a pfishing email. Was the number to call in the email? Are you sure it was AMEX you spoke to?The email stated that l have a credit amount on my DJ/Amex card ( in the thousands ) and that l needed to call them to organise a return of the credit amount to me. Just called them gave them my bank details for the refund
Apparently they continued to debit my account even though l hadn’t used it for 2.5 years. Why’s the card so in credit?
Yeah, l thought so too although l called the number on the back of my AMEX card. I guess they can now infiltrate phone numbers too so I’ll wait and see what happens. I’ve changed all my passwords and PIN numbers just in case. That sounds like a pfishing email. Was the number to call in the email? Are you sure it was AMEX you spoke to?

The problem was that l couldn’t login at all because my card actually expired 18 months ago. So I'm waiting for my new card to arrive and then I’ll be able to login and find out whether or not this recent communication was legitimate or not.Weird. Wouldn’t you just be able to log in and confirm the positive balance before doing anything? If you did, I’m sure it’s fine
Still waiting for them to share the details of their traveller programs. I probably will get my points out towards end of June.Latitude finally have placed an information page online for the transition from Amex to Latitude. It’s as expected with Storecard to the Icon card, DJ’s Black AMEX to Premiere and DJ’s Platinum AMEX to DJ’s Prestige:
Not sure how 'No Change' is open to interpretation. Even the comparison table has a note about staying on the same arrangements. Disclaimer C in this document https://assets.latitudefinancial.com/forms/cards/David-Jones-Premiere-Comparison-Table.pdfCards are supposedly arriving from today for existing cardholders. Anyone got theirs yet?
I wiped out my entire points balance and zeroed my outstanding balance in case I don't keep this card due now being charged the $99 annual fee (the link to the financial table for the Premiere card sent via e-mail on May 29 says there's no change to the annual fee but that's ripe for interpretation).
Because I don't pay an annual fee for my DJs Amex. So is no change meaning I don't have to pay $99/year or no change meaning no change to the annual fee that I'll now have to cough up $99/year for (which I won't; I'll just cancel the card)? Not sure how 'No Change' is open to interpretation.
Qantas is not a transfer partner, they’ve made it clear both on the Latitude and DJs websites that not an option. Only place I’ve been able to get some information from is the DJs live chat, as you’ll see a messages above, but they weren’t able to tell me conversion rates. Sadly didn’t screenshot what DJs said at the time, so I don’t have a copy of the message confirming exactly what five.Hi Guys,
I'm sorry if this has been mentioned elsewhere and I've missed it. I looked on the DJS card site and was none the wiser about it. I called them just now and spoke with a gentleman who was clearly in an offshore call centre and didn't know what I was asking.
Do we have any information about Airline transfer partners for this new Latitude card and what the transfer rates are? I was informed there was just one currently - Qantas - and it is a "floating" conversion rate - not sure exactly what that means.
I'm considering applying for this card despite my misgivings but don't want to apply for a dud.
Looks like we all got this text as I got this too (same with a friend who also has a standard DJs Amex card)Surprisingly they’re sending a text at least to say the card has been sent as just received from Latitude “Your new David Jones credit card is on its way to you and any additional cardholders. You can expect your card(s) within 10 business days. If you don't receive it by 14 July or have questions, please call 1300 550 006. And until 14 July, you can continue using your existing David Jones credit card as usual.”
