Mrs D, but not I, received a targeted Citi bonus of 20%, on top of the 15% currently on offer

The Citi offer is available to all. The boosters are laid out in the T&Cs at the bottom of the promo page
The up to 40% Bonus Points Transfer Bonanza

*To redeem Citi Reward Points for Velocity Points, individuals must be both a Citi Rewards account holder and a Velocity Frequent Flyer member. The earning and redemption of Citi Reward Points is subject to the Citi Rewards Program Terms and Conditions . Velocity members must transfer their credit card or charge card points between 1 and 31 May 2018 to receive the Tiered Bonus Velocity Points (as defined above) and the Citi Rewards 20% Booster Offer. The Citi Rewards 20% Booster Offer will be calculated as the percentage of the base number of Velocity Points you will receive when you convert your Citi Reward Points to Velocity Points, before any other bonuses are applied. View Citi Rewards 20% Booster full terms and conditions..

Am I missing something obvious, or is the citi 20% booster only hidden in the T&C’s?

I only read the headlines - 15% bonus if under 100k and 20% extra if with ANZ and a handful of others (but not citi).

I’m grateful for the extra points - but would have made the transfer decision a lot easier if that had been advertised...

Yep, ended up being a 40% bonus point + 20% booster bonus on my Citi Prestige transfer.

This is so annoying! Why is Westpac not included again? I’ve have been waiting and waiting to transfer my Westpac Altitude point over for over a year now and every time Velocity have a promotion, it excludes Westpac cards.
I have 2.5 mil Altitude points and want to use for business flights to Europe from Sydney. Any suggestions?

Because Westpac don't want to participate.....

Out of interest how quickly did your Citi transfers take to arrive in your velocity accounts? Have transferred some yesterday and wondering when I can expect them.

Within a day or so.
I was alarmed when the citi website suggested 28 days for delivery after I'd executed the transaction, but it was overnight or at most 48 hours.

I received an email from Amex this morning informing Amex Platinum Charge (and I assume higher) customers get a year worth of SG if transferring 250k or a year worth of WP if transferring 500k to VFF (along with the up to 40% bonus).

Amex/VFF have run this promotion previously and I do not like the ability to just buy status so easily....
Is this targeted or for all platinum charge card holders?

so just to confirm for Citi - it seems to make sense to transfer through VA even if ultimately want to hold KF?

Great news oz_mark, thank you
Posted with the 15% + 20% bonus as you predicted. !!!
Just bunged another 250k across to Velocity - last minute, to maximise value.
I'll take 2:1 SQ over 2.5:1 SQ, any day. Thanks again, oz_mark.....

Ive got 212,000 points sitting in flybuys and may be able to quickly clock up some more before the end of this promo. Im reading the flybuys promo ends on May31 on Velocity site but June 10 on Flybuys site. Who should i trust? Also if I transfer the 212,000 across am I reading correctly that I can keep transferring till the end of the promo despite exceeding the usual allowed maximum?

I’m in the same boat, but will probably stick to to 31 May. I’m not up for a argument over timing. Let us know if you get confirmation of the later date.

Edit. Just revisited Flybuys site and it does say that offer has been extended, so I think 10 June can be trusted. I’m not sure if you could exceed the cap twice in the promotional period though. Ie transfer your 212,000 by 31 May and then transfer any extra by 10 June.

Well if you're not sure, you might as well transfer your entire balance now; risk any extras accrued before June 10 on a second transfer. Worst case is you wait and then can't transfer any more than the cap for the entire balance, rather than the balance accrued between end-May and 10 June.

No extension for my or my brother's flybuys accounts.
Both flybuys accounts still say end May.

My FB account says end of May as well. o_O

Well that’s weird. This morning my account said extended til 10June, but now says the normal 31 May.

I wonder if it will be extended at the last minute and someone was a bit quick to put that page up.

Too funny really. June 10 had disappeared from my log in too! I actually have messaged VFF via Facebook to confirm end date. They said they would get back to me but yet to hear from them!
