Just wanted to confirm if anyone knew, that bookings made with gift vouchers in December 2013 for travel in Dec 2013 - Jan 2014 will count towards double SC promotion?

Reading the T&C's of the DSC Offer and the Vouchers... I can't see why they wouldn't. As long as it's a standard "cash-fare" booking. I certainly have booked and paid for a couple quick DSC trips in Jan 14 using the vouchers. (note: these were not ASA bookings... where Vouchers cannot be used for co-payment)

Have booked MEL-SYD-BKK in J. Do the MEL-SYD legs count for DSC? (I have registered.) Travelling 31 Dec and 05 Jan.

Can't see why not - they are domestic sectors in line with the T&C's of the offer (it should be irrelevant that they are part of an international ticket).

the waiting is killing me ... I did 4 flights SYD-MEL-SYD in last 2 weeks ... all booked in Dec so all qualify for SC.

these would basically get me to WP but when I rang customer service today, they said it takes up to two weeks AFTER the promotion ended (which is end JAN). Thats bull**** as I could be enjoying nicer lounge and priority boarding but instead, I have to wait 2 months.

Qantas, this is not a great system. Why cant you simply apply the bonus SCs right away ? what is the issue?

NYE in Thailand = Wow that should be a great trip!

Heading to Just Bangkok or out of town as well HVR ?

A week or two before the double offer came out I got a 1.5 offer which I registered for. That offer came with the following:

This special offer is only
valid when you register and book between 22 November 2013 and 28 November 2013
for travel between 22 November 2013 and 22 February 2014
.

During that 22 to 28 November period I booked one trip for travel in early December.

Would I be correct in assuming that my registration for the 1.5 won't impact my double offer, given that offer affectively lapsed on 28 November? I'm looking at a JASA in January that I'll only consider if it's subject to the double SC.

I understand that you can't have both a 1.5 and a double at the same time but what I'm concerned about is my registration of the 1.5 ruling me out of taking advantage of the double.

Consensus from earlier in this thread seems to be Yes, you are correct. If a previous offer has expired, and two offers do not overlap (as is the case here) then any new bookings you make now, under the terms of the current DSC offer will qualify for DSC. Just make sure you have definitely registered for the current DSC offer and received the confirmation email from QFF before making new bookings.

Very nice. I haven't read the thread in detail but it looks like I need to.

Just finished an itinerary and did not get my double credits for SYD - MEL Econ return.

Do I have to call or does it just take some more time?

It takes an annoying amount of time, and calling probably won't do much more than waste your time.

Don't the terms usually say that the Extra SC's may take up to 6-8 weeks to appear?

As per the last line in Section #2 of the T&C it says up to 6 weeks.
Read through the many threads from this and previous SC offers, the real-world results from the hoi polloi suggest between 1-2 weeks after travel is common.

Just received an email from QF the "1 million reasons to book a Classic Award." Completely forgot that there was still status credits on offer for Classic Award flights booked until 31st Dec 13 for flights until 31st Dec 14.

What would the chances be that you can also get double SC for a Classic Award flight booked and taken in Jan 14?
