Double SCs on eligible Domestic Flights and Double Qantas Points with Qantas Cash

If your activity statement says the flights were booked on Dec 1 or later, I think little point in phoning yet. They will just trot out the party line "... may take up to 6 weeks." Most people are still waiting I suspect.

I'm still waiting for DSCs to post for flights on 13/15 Dec and that's exactly what they told me when I rang up yesterday. Even the normal SCs took 72 hours to post

They did tell me one interesting thing, which is that booking time is logged in zulu time. Aust time zones are generally between hotel and lima time I think (not sure about WA). So that explains why a booking done early on 1 Dec in Australia would show up as 30 Nov on the QF system.

My normal SC's took 3 days, bonus SC's 2 weeks, but can take 6 weeks.

Depends on when batches are processed.

Everything will be backdated to when you earned them so you won't miss out on FF points etc. you earned in the interim.

Personally I'd not be hassling them yet, but they're your credits so do what you must.

what? hows that possible ? you are lucky!

they told me I have to wait for the system to post these and it takes up to 6 weeks :(

Mine posted yesterday for trips on the 19th Dec and 21st December ! I did not expect to see them for 6 weeks. Means I just limp over the line as WP on the 1st Jan in time for a trip on the 12th Jan

East coast is kilo time.

I know QF is looking for extra business with these offers but an occasional retrospective offer would generate a lot of goodwill for those of use who have already demonstrated loyalty.

How about it Red Roo?

That's not how it works. What would the retrospective period be? 1 day, 1 week, 1 month? Btw never be loyal to any airline, it will only lead to disappointment.

Christmas flight has posted but with 0 points and status credits even though points deduction appeared as "QANTAS & JETSTAR ANY SEAT AWARD 1 ADT" when JASA was booked... Thanks Santa!

This is clearly a ****-up that I am sure they will promptly fix.

Have you rung them to have it rectified, or was posting here your first response?

nor do i have mine from 10 & 13th - both booked in december... im waiting on mine so i can tick over to gold... its ****ting me to tears now

Don't worry, you're not alone.
Mine from the 10th and 16th haven't posted either... waiting to see that new status on the QF page is killing me!

I assumed the Frequent Flyer Service Centre may not be working on Boxing Day so I'll call them tomorrow during my long drive up from MEL to BNE...

First flight was on QF Link while subsequent connecting flight which was on QF domestic (on the same booking) has just posted with points and DSC... Anyone with a similar experience?

Here's a what-if question that I'm not 100% sure of the answer, as relates to DSC promo.

* I booked a flexi-flight in mid Dec from CNS-SYD-MEL for Jan 2014.
* I have now changed that on the same day for the CNS-BNE-MEL service. There was a further $60 to pay.

Q1: Will the DSC still apply to this new itinerary ? Presume to be yes and the new booking was still in Dec 2013 (today).
Q2: What if I had made the change to the original DSC booking in Jan, after the DSC promo ends ? Is that then treated as a new booking, made in Jan 2014 and not eleigble for the Dec 2013 DSC.

Thought it might be handy to know for future reference.

I'm still waiting for my points to hit my account. Really not sure why this is taking so long. Flew early Dec and its almost Jan, come on Qantas!!!!

Hoping the dsc post relatively quickly after my January flights, otherwise I'll be sitting outside the QP when I fly in Feb...
