Not always! A recent SYD-BNE-TSV rtn failed to post the +50% for the outward journey but posted the rtn immediately. It took an email to CS to sort it out. But then I think I'm jinxed as I've not received the DSC offer (tho of course I've registered and will be booking :-) )

I didn't say always did I.

Cash was $370.80 per return trip, including CC fee. 25 December (1 night), 4 January (1 night) and 17 January (2 nights). Are you coming?

I'm going to TSV "for lunch" on Jan 17. Maybe see you on the way. Seat 2A on the early flight out of ADL

Looks like I'll be there for the night of the 4th. Thinking holiday inn, or something.

Wow this uysed to be easy but difficult now and must be a nightmare for CSR's
It was easy when you received an offer once in a blue moon.

This is a mess. Too difficult to keep up.

So tempted to book if there's any left. Is Anna traveling on any of these dates too? Could do a mini get together if that is the case....:)

I think she might overlap on one date.

No sorry. My year expires 31 Dec so my DSC bid will be prior to that.

Was thinking of aiming for WP1 but with the "misquoted" JASA that is now looking too hard in the time available with not much award availability left on the non work days in Dec :( and too weird to take annual leave simply for a status run.

WP1 doesn't sound that fantastic anyway (she says to console herself), really only the ability to select row 4 on booking instead of at T-80. It's not like it means guaranteed upgrades, CL guest passes, an invitation to G'day LA or anything I couldn't buy for myself if I wanted it. (I've nearly convinced myself!)

Anyone flying SYD-TSV on 29th or 30th December? I'm going up on the 29th and back on the 30th.

how long does it take for the bonus points to show up ? I booked a flight SYD-MEL-SYD on 1/12, flew today. The transaction history only shows normal SC, not the bonus ones.

Usually a few days later.

On my offer last year mine were posted the next day in the main...one was 3 days later.

Hmmm... might be time for a call to CS. I flew a number of flights in early & mid Nov on the 1.5x SC offer and no BONUS SC appear in my activity statement yet. Was going to wait for the "up to 6 weeks" to go past but from what others are saying they should probably be there by now. The flights went into the Activity Timeline instantly... within hours of completing the flights. I went from NB to PS during that time also as part of the regular SC earned. That change was also immediately noted under my QFF account. I'm still owed 195 bonus points from these flights which will put me over line for SG.

Any idea if Magnetic island is worth visiting / staying at?
Given the traffic of people going to TSV just for lunch or for a night, perhaps QF should encourage Neil Perry to open a restaurant there

I'll be having lunch on QF662 on the 17th. Are you flying back the same day?

I'm at Rydges on the 4th, $89 incl. breakfast. I'm staying at Holiday Inn for the first time 17th-19th Jan on a PP BOGOF.
