Double Status Credits 2011

Apologies if I'm retracing old ground here but I booked PER-MEL-PER (discount economy) in early June only to receive my offer of double credits about 2 weeks later...

Does anyone know if I can claim double credits even though I previously booked or will they credit them to me anyway?

Dear all

Finally booked flights to take advantage of double stat. credits offer.

Thanks to CBR-SYD or MEL-HBA JASA and BNE-MEL-SYD- NAN run advised by MARKIS10 I will go from 15 years of bronze to Gold. Also rest of family will go from Bronze to Silver.

Flights as follows:
  • starting at 110 credits
  • CBR-MEL-HBA JASA 160credits
  • HBA-SYD-CBR JASA 200credits
  • SYD - NAN J 80credits (old booking last leg of BNE-MEL-NAN)
  • NAN-BNE-SYD J award 0 credits
  • CBR-MEL-HBA JASA 160credits
Total before My rollover of 31/7/2011 = 710credits

With new luggage limts for Silver/Gold, will be very useful for overseas trips next year.

I received my double SC from March today, looks exactly the same and was 80. Did they give them to everyone?!
As chances are it was some sort of processing error I'm currently watching to see if they are taken away again.

I would love to get double SC's for April, would be an extra 520 and would tip me over to WP... Just hoping :)

I know I read it somewhere in this thread but can't find it anymore.

On average how long do these double credits take to arrive?

Flying Air Pacific last February, the double SC posted to my QFF activity statement within seven days.

Someone had said weeks earlier on, but I've done 5 flights in the last 2 weeks, and received the double credits for 4 of them already...

If it helps, I had a dom JASA take 2 business days (4 days including the weekend) to credit after the flights appeared on my activity statement and a paid dom Y flight take 2 business days.

Anyone notice a slowdown in the double SCs being credited? They were coming through a couple of days after the flight but I flew SYD-CNS on 31 May and they came through 3 June however the same day I flew CNS-TSV and they haven't arrived, nor the bonus SCs from my return flights on 2 June.

I did crack SG for another year, five months early - now 800 SCs to go for WP!

I am getting bonus SCs by drip feed

I took a 4 sector JASA on 28 May and the bonus SCs appeared one sector per day from 31 May to 3 June. Interesting.

For positioning flights in Y on 27 May and 30 May the bonus SCs have not appeared yet.

Cheers skip

Because I am special! ;)

Bonus SCs will post retroactively in the membership they were earned.

Sort of related.. I have done my JASA to get Gold. The standard SC's have posted but the doubles, which will actually take me to Gold, have not. If I were to fly tomorrow and my doubles had not posted yet, I assume that I would get points based on Silver, but will this change once the doubles post and I would get the extras based on FF points as gold?

Well mine from 31 May and 2 June showed up today. Not too bad but it's hard to track why some come through quickly and others don't.

My doubles have been credited overnight. So I am officially now Gold!! :D:D ( big deal for me!)

I did get an additional double credited in the amount of 15 SC. Not sure where that has come from or if it will stay or they will correct it. Anyone else had an error like this?

Now just to decide if I will go for WP to keep for a year !

Well nothing has credited for me so far, I'll be on the phone next week if it doesn't .. not too fussed as the moment as I am only 2 months into my FF year.

Have flown 320 standard SC's and the bonus SC's haven't posted for me either- will wait until 6 weeks- although unusual they have posted for some and not for others.

In so saying, I note the experience was mixed during the last promotion- is that correct?

I had an  additional  credit well in excess of your amount, and I wont be saying too much more than that.;)

Im now at day 6 after my last status run flight, no bonus points yet, getting edgy.
