How about the DSC haul & runs everyone is doing and how they are making use of the increased SC's.
Ill start. Booked a SYD-LAX-JFK-LAX-BNE-SYD in J for Sept. 1200 SC's should keep me at WP for another year and visiting F lounges. Will be able to see how the 787 stacks up. Been able to get 1A & 10K on those legs.

I don’t need to fly DSC flights at present as I am QF WP1 (LTG) and VA WP, however I still need to fly weekly and so we do not generate another 30 odd pages of T’s and C’s discussions, vouchers, all the other “what ifs”.

No need for another ground swell of voucher posts.

Is there any evidence yet of changing flight dates on a PNR originally eligible for the promotion?

I need to change a paid F ticket for a flight next month by one day. This won’t change the PNR - and I know in previous years DSC will still have been earned - but I’m a bit nervous I’ll lose significant DSC on this booking as it’s the difference between P1 or not.

Any thoughts?

Soooooo DSC took me up Gold recently, but my actual SC earned did not exceed the 500SC Loyalty threshold requirement (yet). 470 of 500 as far as I am aware.

It appears that I was invited to pick my loyalty award of 50SC or 8k Points nevertheless.

Bug?

Let’s see if it happens again to the family trips I booked up til the end of year hehe.

I changed a flight in thr first DSC a few years back and still got the DSC. Moved the flights a week back still within the promo period.

Double Status Credits still count to the loyalty bonus for a few more weeks (till about March 13 if I recall correctly). Any DSC received after then shouldn’t count towards the loyalty bonus anymore sadly.

My double credits posted overnight. Flight booked 1/2 and flown 12/2. Normal credits posted just after flight.

Also single credits and points for a cancelled flight which I am sure QFF will eventually remove.

I totally missed that change, when did that get announced?
DSC is meant to take me to LTS this year. Going to be very short if they stop counting now and a much longer road to LTG.

Change away. I received DSC’s yesterday for a flight taken on the 12th which was a change to a DSC flight booked for later that week and brought forward.

The only problem for me was that I had to change the out bound flight to the 11th so lost the DSC’s for that flight

OK thats my confusion lifetime vs loyalty. I think i was aware of the loyalty bonus change.
