Double status credits on offer for eligible Qantas flights

I can see I will have issues trying to get double SCs for the booking I used the gift voucher. I know medhead has posted he has had success but I am not convinced I can do the same.

JohnK: My flights booked under the double SC promotion have not posted yet
Customer Service Rep: The promotion is not over yet
JohnK: The last lot posted within 2 days and these flights haven't
CSR: I see that these flights were booked on 26 December 2011 and are not eligible for the promotion
JohnK: No. I used a gift voucher and I made the booking in May
CSR: Oh! I don't know about that you will need to wait until the end of the promotion (In other words too hard for me)

Rang up a week ago and had much the same conversation ... Bonus SCs posted next day

Many thanks to QF (and for DJ for not having suitable times or cheaper seats), I now have BNE/ADL/MEL/BNE in J (okay, a JASA), so 160 SC's become 320 - half way to re-qual.

Well, flights taken and as at my check yesterday, only BNE/ADL JASA flight posted (standard SC's and points). Expect the ADL/MEL and MEL/BNE to post today and hopefully the DSC's early next week.

I received an email extending the offer period to include July and August for all Qantas flights. This required me to register again, which I did and I received a second confirmation of registration.

I now can't find the new email with the details of the extended period (!!) - has anyone else received it? I'd just like to confirm the terms of the revised offer before booking flights.

I didn't get this email (would be nice if they did though!). I have a heap of stuff booked in August, of which only one segment is International (as per the original offer). Would be great to get double for the domestic portions too!

Perhaps RR can clarify (if Trevor is lurking around ) if this was for all people with the double SC offer or not?

I called again today and still no luck. Told to write in rather than calling and they will look at the claim after 6 weeks. Must be my telephone manner.

The 6 weeks has now come & gone. Still missing 80SC so I'll be hitting the phone in the morning.......Hope I get a nice one as Saturday mornings can be very taxing!

This is amazing that they can't post the SC's in this amount of time! Especially for a WP! Dad's (WP) bonus points have always posted within a few days without hassle.

TBF they did post the other 540 bonus SC in a matter of days.......80 are missing & I'll be chasing them. Once I've spoken to QF I'll post an update.

Took your advice and just completed the call.

Confirmation that the missing flights are eligible (thanks, already knew that) and the points should have posted (already knew that too).....friendly lady now has to send a file to another person in promotions department & hopefully they'll post sometime this week. Lucky for me, I'm not sweating on them to make a status milestone - it's been 6.5 weeks so far!

Apart from the OMG o'clock alarm clock wake up was a pretty cruisy day.

Sounds like we were on the same flights today (1A x 4) - SC posting same as you - nice add on to lifetime total with double sc offer.
