Yes, source please.

Of course, I'd also like to know how many of the 6 million are actually active members. Many people probably registered years ago just to get the free 10 cent fuel voucher and may never have used the card again.

I am pissed. I would have earned 6,000 bonus flybuys points if I transferred all my December spending to them. She goes 'well you got the hamper email'. Thank you.

I have enough shopping and enough targeted offers from both that I split the shopping between the two programs and get rewards from both. I've earned thousands of points from Flybuys in the last few months but my family also saved money with the EDR fuel vouchers.

I suspect Woolworths and EDR are banking on its regular shoppers on overspending for Christmas and New Year's and avoid giving out offers to maximise its profits!

In my opinion the Christmas offers from both Flybuys and EDR so far are actually quite generous, but they require a higher than normal spend for the week. If we spend this much at Christmas will they then set the spending requirement higher than normal for future offers therefore making it harder to get a reward? Will their targeting program see this as a one off spike and ignore it or see it as an upward trend and try to get us to spend this higher amount all the time?

My partner's target spends for the second tier of EDR fuel vouchers is $80. If I spend this, will I say goodbye to any decent future offers for $30 or $50 spending for the week? This weeks flybuys coupon gives us $15 off for taking the transaction total to $80, which is $20 higher than the highest weekly amount spent on this account(at Coles). I am contemplating using this coupon but ignoring the following weeks coupon which offers the equivalent amount in points for spending $80. I don't want the targeting program at Flybuys to see a new pattern.

My friend spends between $60 and $100 at WW each week. Her EDR offer this week started at $120 dollars to get a high value fuel voucher. In my opinion the fuel offers this week have increased both in voucher value and in required spend value.

I am hoping EDR will go back to points offers after Christmas. When I saw the "choose your reward" offers I thoght this type would continue the following week but nothing like it came to us.

Has anyone else seen a trend in either EDR or Flybuys in previous years where they put up both the reward and the required spend at Christmas time?

This is the first year I have played this game so I cannot answer

The FB offers came in the cardboard vouchers some weeks and for the three shoppers in the house there were greatly different thresholds and rewards. They roughly went in order of usual spends. And indeed the target spend crept up higher as the weeks went on

The WW offers are really dropping away. But the spend threshold may be dropping a bit there

Regards

Mine was spend $ 100 at WOW for 500 points.

Spent $ 110 yeasterday

500 EDR points BONUS points
80 EDR points

745 points for $ 110...............................BRING BACK THE "GOOD OLDE DAYS" !!!!!

I received the 300 bonus points for $50 spend last week. Have met that now. Received bonus 10cpl petrol discount today. Logged into my EDR rewards account to check if it was there and it was. Noticed that I have had a couple of 10 cpl petrol discounts that have expired over the last few months! Oh well, don't own a car, so can hardly complain!

Me - 10c off fuel voucher for $50 spend
Brother - 8c off fuel voucher for $10 spend on fresh seafood

Can't use the fuel vouchers I have now....

I screwed up today. My wife has a 15c (or 7.5x litres as FFP's) available until 7 Jan. I went to fill up and thought that I had my wife's EDR mini card on my keyring. Whoops, no I don't have her mini card when I am in the line to pay. I have 3 minis - son, daughter and mine. None of us have offers at the moment. :( What a Wally :o

I'm sure you will be more prepared next time LW

Picked up fuel for both vehicles today using a 15c voucher converted to points (~787 QFF Haul)

Paid with 5% off Wi$h card, Claim back the 10% GST on the FULL purchase price, Claim the balance as work deductible expense.

Cheap fuel, easy QFF and another step towards yet another ride in the front of the bus.... Yes, as some would call it....... Living the dream :lol::lol:

Yeah I did the fuel refuel today (before prices went up in MEL), filled up the car and jerry can to 89 litres exactly with a 10c voucher (5x points). I am still bit iffy about going for points instead of fuel savings but I am sure my dad is happy he has petrol to mow the lawn!

Shintaro10x, thanks for the commiserations ;)

I did the same as you, except pay for the fuel with the wiSh card and collect some points :( :(

Then I opened my iPhone and had a look at her account and mine. It was at that point that I saw the link cards section - which after reading made me feel like a peanut. I could have done that in the line (linking hers to mine) and I would have got 7.5 x 48 FFP's

Oh well...

Lindsay you are way to generous with your after tax dollars. Shintaro10x is living the dream in SA with Woolies Wish cards from RAA. I use RAC and you have RACQ in your part of Oz.
Off I go to Big W and spend $519.. I get 489 points. Then I pay on Wish Gift cards so I save $26. Bought the Wish gift cards on EDR credit card so I have another 519 points. Front of the bus makes points feel like they are worth 4 cents each so my discount is about 13% tax exempt.
Better get MrsW onto it as you only have xx years to retirement and those $25 notes saved per $500 may come in handy.
You can never have too many points nor dollars in your pocket.
Now 13% without tax can be almost 25% saving out of a pay packet.......
Before long we can talk about investing....
Noone in my shopping line used Gift cards so maybe I should buy Woolies shares.

Cove, my thoughts exactly. Have to research the RACQ version and need a lesson from either you or Shintaro10x. Seems I'm behind the pack :(

I can get the Wish Cards mailed from RAC in WA in under 5 minutes to save $50 tax free on each transaction online.
Now that works out at $600 an hour tax free....so who needs to be a .......
I left the occupation blank.....

Sadly, if they were all using give cards purchased from auto clubs and the like then methinx said discount purchases might become a thing of the past.

I'm sure their actuaries rely on a certain amount of overall "breakage" to justify the discounts to large organisations ...
