Just a heads-up for those who are in the Sydney CBD - the Woolworths at Town Hall now sells bus tickets and travel passes. Just bought myself a significant number of them given the forthcoming price rise on the 2nd of January and with the additional hope that they qualify for the 5x bonus points as well (certainly came up fine when the EDR card was scanned so I'd imagine they will). Of course there's no worries using AMEX either for even more bonus points (Australia Post is the only other place I've found in Sydney that takes AMEX for bus tickets without any issues). :D

Ok guys the Verve is $US37 in Marina del Rey,CA so you were smart to hold off until you go to the US!

Just finished a marathon shop, bought a case of pear cider for the prodigal daughter, Hahn premium light cans (the cashier very nicely rang it up as stubbies) and other beer and a couple of dozen wine, vodka and baileys. Left the trolley in Woolworths Liquor, did a $400 shop, rang the it up, returned to the WL who retrieved the docket. They then volunteered a lovely young man to help bring the trolleys to the car. So 3,000 plus FFP, another 650 on my Amex and 30cpl off my fuel. Not a bad afternoon's work, but my footsies are sore & tired.

Time to drink some of that pear cider, forget the prodigal daughter.

My shopping this afternoon pales into insignificance. Looks like sarvowinner is challenging you for the title Princess Fiona

Nah, I went straight to the vodka. Sipping on a double Cosmo as we speak. Looking for cosmo glass emoticon to no avail (hic)

Did not receive any offers this week for 4 accounts. Strange indeed as the 5x offer was useless after arriving late on the weekend.

My points poseted yesterday for a Saturday shop at the Liquor Store.

17/12/11 Woolworths Supermarket $299.92 269points 1,076bonus 1,345total

I fear Classic Award / ASA / JASA shortage coming up due to the number of QFF being handed out by Woolworths these days

Its a piddling per consumer compared to what the banks hand out via credit cards and the odd life insurance policy bonus!

No bonus points post for me yet after my weekend big shop.

My account must be bottom of the list for attention. I'm always late with offers if I get any.

Not for AFF members though

More so for AFF members in fact, who have had opportunities to pick up 50K very cheaply recently via one path and various other credit bonuses/sign ons, thats $10000 worth of groceries at the weekend special offer rate, and lets not talk about Amex promos, some cardholders have not purchased a flight in years

Ok, I'm wrong then...

But in general, there must be some dilution of award availability with more and more participation in QFF wouldn't you think...?

BTW, I cant get the award I want and I'm looking for someone to blame...!
