EDR Targeted Bonus Point Promotions

I decided to not bother with the email form, so just called them instead.
Firstly they verified that I enrolled into the offer, selecting the $10 voucher.
Then they asked for details of my shop, asking if I purchased any tobacco or gift cards.
Then they asked more specific detail from my docket, namely the store id, transaction id, time of transaction, total amount. Luckily I had the docket with me.
They then told me that they'll mail me a $10 gift card :)

Worked out in the end, but would have preferred that they just get it right in the first place.

Interestingly got an email from EDR today stating:

EDR said:
Hi John,
We would like to let you know that due to a system issue, you missed out on receiving a saving of $10 from our ‘Choose your own reward’ email offer.

To make it up to you, we have credited $10 to your Everyday Rewards card for you to use the next time you shop. Your credit will be available on your card, number 9344614015403, to redeem at your convenience between Monday 2 February and Sunday 15 February 2015.

I wonder if I'll still receive a gift card? Though I doubt it.

I doubt it - although that's clever (from their viewpoint) in that you only have 2 weeks to secure the saving by doing more shopping - whereas a Wish card doesn't have that time limitation

Am also testing the Opel top up bonus points theory...

That's a good point. I'm hoping I get the gift card promised in their email. The other problem with the $10 credit issue for me personally is that I might not use the particular card the credit is on during the valid period. If I get a Wish card I can use it on part payment of the transactions of any of our family cards. The gift card has the added advantage that I'd still get any base points earned on the transaction. The credit would lower the transaction total so less points would be earned. The credit may possibly make it harder to qualify for other targeted offers during the valid dates.

Bit like the one I got when I bought petrol at an outlet recently.
Had to use the voucher by the 1st February to get the discounts. you guessed it, I had just bought the petrol that day, so use the voucher same day or stiff !!

Finally got a half decent offer - $50 for 250 points.

Have to decide between that and a $60 for 1000 flybuys points offers, only issue is carrying $60 worth of groceries home by myself. :/

$200 = 1k Qf points current offer. Up from $160 = 750 points previous wk.

Dad - 1000 bonus points for $275 spend
Brother - 1000 bonus points for $275 spend

LOL!

Mmm... Filled up the car yesterday, so what does EDR give me today? A 10 cent off per litre voucher. Don't know if I will be able to fully use it. Plus it is tied to my local station.

I had the same petrol offer come to Mrs QF WP, also tied to the last petrol station where I swiped her card - thankfully that it the closest to work

I filled up yesterday at 98.9c/l :o - thought I needed my eyes checked. Pity I don't have jerrycans ;)

In my case they think my 'local' station is the one two suburbs away when there is actually one a block from my house...wonder if they are transferable?

These offers mentioned above. Are they generally person specific, or go out to every one ?

Person specific. Not to say people here wont get the same offer but there are generally a range of offers and you may or may not get one of them.
