EDR Targeted Bonus Point Promotions

NOTHING. *sad arms*

I do have week 1 of a spend $100/save $15 instantly so maybe that's why?

I have the same offer and it is targeted to a specific store which we use when we pick up our grandson but not the most convenient to our home.

We usually do a couple of little shops <$30 per week but I have changed and do them at Coles where you get FlyBuys from $1. FlyBuys have never attracted me before but at least you get something.

2 cards have spend 30 get 250 points offers. Both cards last week had spend 35 / 250 offers but only one was used. Not complaining though!

Nothing for any of my cards this week and I was planning a big shop!

Mrs andye went for a big shop today and wasn't asked for her card. Noticed immediately after paying and told not possible to add it at the service desk after paying in this situation (short of returning everything and rescanning). Not sure if this has always been the case or it's a new development

This has always been the official policy with Everyday Rewards. They want the demographic information and they can't get it by manually adding the points later. If you ring the call centre line you might get lucky given the staff didn't follow the correct procedure, however your luck will vary depending on who you get to talk to.

Used the self serve register at my local WW yesterday and noticed that the register referred to it as 'Woolworths Rewards', both on screen and when it talked - no mention of 'Everyday'! Email the other day offering double points was still Everyday Rewards.

It seems like a name change is imminent - I wonder whether there will be other changes?

I thought the changes would have been implemented by now. There has been speculation for ages about exactly how the program will change and lots of test surveys. I'm guessing the new self service software has been planned for awhile and the actual program changes have been delayed. Good pick up on the self service. I'll keep an eye out for other changes.

I heard the other day that Woolies were dropping the whole QF points gig and implementing their own rewards model based around "Woolworths Points". When I was told of it I thought to myself yea right but maybe there really are some big changes coming.

There are definitely changes coming but there's no way of knowing which changes are coming and when. One of the market research surveys I did included QFF points as an option of rewards and another one seemed to cut the whole QFF idea out of the equation so that all the rewards were store based. Let us know if you see anything definite. Where was the reference to "Woolworths Points"? This was the term used in one of the surveys I did.

People see Flybuys as a cashback/redemption program whereas EDR is tied into QFF which not everybody wants, although you can request giftcards.

If WW takes away QFF I will probably shop more at Coles/IGA.

I suppose the other option would be that you have to accumulate a certain number of 'woollies' points before you can convert them to QF points.

That would force everyone to scan their EDR card for every transaction - not just those over $31. Will potentially give them a better idea of spending habits, and tie people to woollies rather than shopping around?

Spent my $90 in order to get the $100 off. According to the receipt the discount won't be loaded until Thursday 8 October. I'll have to do some shopping somewhere else before then.
LOL. I couldn't understand what mum was telling me. I thought it might have been the discount needed to be used by 08 October. Makes sense the discount won't be available until 08 October.

On another note still haven't received the $30 gift card from previous promotion ending early last month.

A friend of mine is still waiting for her gift card as well. I can't remember the terms and conditions on this offer but physical gift cards for a special promotion usually take one to two months to be sent out.

Got the same offers across the family - double points, 200 points if spend $30 or $50.

But with a twist - several of the offers would not work and came up with an error page.

EDR Tech Issue.jpg

Still happening today - yet another 'issue' stopping points being awarded.

Not happy Jan!

Speaking of errors...

Has anyone actually received any of their bonus points?

I have not received a single point from Woolworth since July 25... Petrol, Normal spend of $30, or these bonus 250pts...

The next problem is that the call centres for EDR are outsourced and they've got a vested interest in not reporting or following through on problems (as my experience documented a few weeks earlier in this thread shows).

If they actually had a $1/1 point conversion instead of $31/$1 (I dont trust $30!), I would always dcan my EDR card.

Flybuys I scan it whenever I spend $1+....
