Hit my credit limit today :( and its only early in the billing period...!

Really need to find another card to compliment this Woolworths card since recently retiring a few poor performers... And since Amex don't want my money I'm looking for a Visa / MC with a similar earn to this one, low fee or fee with BP's

Looking, Looking, Looking...:p

I have exactly the opposite problem - AMEX do want my money - they have offered me Cent - Citibank in there wisdom have knocked me back twice now for Plat Visa.

You could try the citibank plat visa with 50,000 bonus points. $300 fee, but the points you get work out about the same rate as the 16,000 points for $89 on the wow card.

I plan on cancelling the Citibank card before the end of the first year, but you may be able to get them to drop the fee if you tell them you've found a better deal with the wow card and are planning on cancelling.

So when do the 16 000 points show up? First purchase?

I see they are offering 12 000 points now.

Does the citibank card enroll to QFF for points or do they use another loyalty scheme...?

Also what's their service like and do points post in a timely manner...?

Well Shintaro10x don't you just need to figure out how to quickly re-load this card mid month and when you can you apply for a bigger limit. I think it is usually 6 months and you then get the opportunity to revise your limit.
Typically if you use a large part of your limit on a monthly basis you should have a better chance of a greater limit when you apply for an increase. If you use say 1k on a 10k card regularly they will be a little less likely to move on a limit increase request.

Yes I do understand that I can simply reload the card, but I do wish to use the credit facility provided to full effect, after all they advertise an interest free period which I would like to take full advantage. And for now, WOW will not even give me an additional card for Mrs Shintaro let alone an increase in credit limit.

WOW credit increase is still an option, but their service leads me to look for a "back-up" card too...

I thought I'd ordered a second card but none has showed up. Thinking about it I don't recall seeing a box to tick that asked how many cards I wanted. So how do I get a second card on the account? Visit the website I guess and find out.

At present, the only way to get an additional cardholder is to fill out a paper application and request one at that time. They are supposedly working on getting a separate form organised for current cardholders but such a form does not yet exist.

I have this problem as well - Amex can't stop giving me cards, but Citibank? They're won't approve anything for me.

Amen brother - jeez i was starting to think I was some sort of strange unique character.

AMEX offer me Cent - NAB throw me a Plat Amex / Visa with 20K limit (now reduced to 5K and my niece only one using this card as supp card holder - I get the QFF points) - ANZ throw me a Plat Amex / Visa with 20K limit (now cancelled - bonus 20K QF pts in my account and $55 of the annual fee back in my pocket) - WOW give me 16K limit plus the bonus points - limit now reduced to 2K - but Citiobank keep rejecting me.

But wait there is more - I even got rejected by Virgin - can you believe that.

But I will not rest - I will get a card from Citibank - I just cannot accept an earn rate of 0.5:1 on Visa for SQ pts.

aaahhhahahahahahaa.

Sorry, just had to laugh. "Service" and "timely" are not words often used in conjunction with Citibank in my experience :)

Nevertheless, I'm going to pursue their 50/60K card (whichever is the one with QFF points). I'm just unlikely to actually use it past qualifying for the free points.

I just racked up $1000.03 worth of spend on my Citi card to qualify for the 50,000 QFF points. I intend waiting for the points to transfer across then I'll cancel the card.

My application was pretty painless, but my mother also applied for the card and has been bombarded my phone calls from them wanting something or other. For me they were happy with copies of my licence, passport, and last two tax returns. For my mother they wanted copies of phone bills, bank statements, and god knows what else. Bloody painfull.

this is what I was expecting, but I spent $1300 in the first month, and both the 1300 points and 50K bonus points posted immediately at the end of the first month.

I see they are offering 12 000 points now.

The offer is now 15,000 points...

Woolworths Everyday Rewards

Guess there was a fair drop in applications when they went from 16k to 12k points :lol::lol:

Anyway, good time to apply for this card if you don't already have one...

:p I might just have to apply now... was going to apply for Amex Discovery card as well which would give me 25,000 pts for $89 + qantas store purchase. If my maths is correct... anyone feel free to correct me

I am waiting for them to offer at least 20K points bonus offer. At the moment I am in no hurry to get this card.
