Everyday Rewards Qantas Credit Card

I joined when the offer had expired, but when I logged into ER, there was a link leading to the ERQCC application that also said it was offering 16k points. It was August 12th. So I took a screenshot to have some proof if they only gave me 8k.

Sure enough they only gave me 8k and I sent off a fiery email yday demanding the extra 8k with the screenshot attached. I'll keep you posted.
Hi hdfb,

Welcome to AFF.

A good trick well learnt already.

I just realised that Bpay option is present for the Woolies card.

Do I receive points for Bpayments? Do Bpay count as cash advance or does it go through as a credit (ie, I have 55 days to pay it).

Cheers,

Nothing for BPay.
Only real purchases get you points so nothing for cash advances either.

Do you get charged any fees on your EDR account?
I stand corrected if you are getting points on BPay.

You get points for Bpay. I do anyway.

I also get points for B-PAY....

Details of this can be found in the "Conditions Of Use" form available here - https://www.everydaymoney.com.au/edm/wps/wcm/connect/8e0c6e31-8673-4c77-892f-2d480fc83871/ERQFF007_1010_Final.pdf?MOD=AJPERES&click here

The detail is in section 11

11.4 A BPAY® payment from your account is treated
as a purchase

BPAY is treated the same as a purchase hence rewards are earned on BPAY payments

Edit: now if only I could pay my tax bill via BPAY to avoid the credit card surcharge through the standard online payment portal :lol::lol:

I can see that smile on your face from way over here Shintaro10x !
I also see someone who is enjoying the EDR game and playing it hard.
My 19 year old is going on this and now has a 28 degrees card approved so he can get great foreign exchange rates when he travels.

If only the Bpay portal was working for me. For over a month I've been getting a message saying it's temporarily unavailable and to try again later. I've sent numerous emails to the help section but the response has been pathetic: just two phone calls from a young girl who didn't know anything.

I've lost 1000s of points because I've had to put one particular vendor through CBA Diamond Rewards Bpay, which returns only half as many Qantas points.

They sent me an e-mail last week saying the promotion had expired and that the imageshack link of the photo I provided did not work and asked me to attach it to the e-mail.

This morning I got a phone call from ERQCC service operator telling me that I will indeed be getting the 16,000 points!! :p

Is it just me or do we all agree Coles & Fly-buys really missed the boat in regard to loyalty schemes such as EDR. It is so easy to link multiple EDR offers together these days for many QFF.

For me there is no real gain to jump on an EDR bonus offer straight away, much better to wait a day or two and link up several bonii in one sweep

Fly-Buys is truly pathetic. Mrs Plinge has been in it since inception. All she can get is her annual credit card fee paid. I'd be surprised if anyone has actually flown on FlyBuys.

Wonder what the criteria to get this offer were. I received one too. I have, of late, been using my DJ Amex at Woolworths for 3 membership reward points per $. This will encourage me to use the EDRCC at woolworths again, at least for 2 weeks.

I don't think this offer is targeted. The targeted offers usually have to be activated and the email says : this is for EDR card no 12345678 etc
They have probably realised that most of us use the card to scan the barcode and then swipe our Amex ;)
