That's a lot of paper!

I think it's a bit misleading however. I am guessing it's $3 per packet of paper rather than per box. The price ticket doesn't do a good job saying how much you get for $3.

No it's $3 a ream - are you seriously thinking you could ever buy Fuji-Xerox paper at $3 / box 5 reams?

I figured it was $3 per ream. I just think the display is misleading as it consists mostly of boxes rather than individual reams. I'm sure there are some people out there who would claim it was deceptive advertising and attempt to get a whole box for $3, regardless of whether they were fooled or not.

The Yellow price box does not specify size at all, just the type of paper. No per ream, box .......or even why not $3 for the whole pallet ;)

Or maybe it is $3 per sheet .....................................

I just now bought a box in Coles for $3.25 a ream. They had to cut the band off the box so that each ream can be scanned, but then gave me the box top back.

Last time WW had it at $3 I bought 100 boxes - they scanned barcode on box once and put in 500 items - would have thought Coles could easily do that also.

Just fantastic. I had a "spend $135 get ~2k-odd points pts" offer, so I tally up a spend and its $136, and then go to pay and some random 10% off discount applies so now my receipt says I still have to earn another $12 to qualify for points... Grrrr...

Beats an 'out of stock' notification on an online delivery that brings you back under the threshold.

What a coughpy display. Misleading ticket position, not enough single ream out (at least the top layer of boxes should have been opened), and a pallet display with no pallet guards. The group manager should have shot them.

If the system has the special set up right, they should just be able to scan the box and the computer should just add $15.

I've only had 3 offers since the program was changed, only 1 was of any use, none since xmas. :(
Still making multiple transactions so no single transaction is over $10.

Hopefully I haven't caused too many hours of lost sleep for a few AFF members with yesterdays post - so let me try again - bulk on pallets:

And the per ream rate:

And of course the per box rate:

Hope that clears it up for all.

A year or more ago, a local woolies store had the same type of deal ($3 or less)...

Took an entire box to the checkout. Price scanned wrong!

It said $10+ for the box, not the quoted $3ish.

At self serve, complained.... manager arrived....

Both said scanned price was correct!

I disagrre, as just directly to the left at the entry it shows "boxes at $3 each".

1) No boxes have been open
2) Price says $3 each (not per ream / package)
3) Tuff luck! (said by me).... Manager gave up giving the price I wanted (just like above, it shows the box at $3!).

We haven't received any offers this week and I haven't heard anything about other members receiving any. When the first round of offers came out, some of them were 3 week offers and this would be the last week of those initial offers. I guess we'll have to wait until next week and hope that one of the family members gets an offer.

I have to go to Woolworths today to get some last minute half price specials and a few other supplies. If I'd gotten an offer I would have stocked up on some of the pantry and freezer supplies. I'll probably spend over $30 today but under $50 due to the lack of offers.

Well done. Just as I mentioned above, I figured this could be achieved in the right circumstances. It's always a good idea to be on the lookout for misleading signage and badly designed displays.

Well it actually does not as neither sign actually specifies a unit of volume, weight or number (the three things that supermarkets sell and label by). Both are wrong in that both are incomplete still.

Clearly no one at the store knows what 80gsm means!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The second sign makes absolutely no sense! 5 x 80gsm would actually just mean 400gsm !!!!!!!!

Going by the two signs I will take the pallet of paper on the right for $3 rather than the pallet of cardboard for $15.

No offers this week after both getting QFF points the last 2 weeks. Will play the game and vote with my feet by shopping elsewhere and see if we get a reaction

Noticed first lot of QFF points hit the account yesterday

Just returned from WW - here are latest pics - I told staff I wanted 10 boxes at $3/box - they said I would not believe the number of people who try that one on - ALL are refused:

And:

But feel free to go try it on - if you never ask you will never know.

The people in Marketing in Norwest who enter the descriptions on these tickets don't know much. If you think this offer description is confusing, you should look at some of the multibuy tickets.

Clearly no one at the store knows what 80gsm means!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know what it means, but I don't work in that store. :P
