Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

The longest delay I've had in the last year was just over 50 hours (across a weekend admittedly). Through the week 41 hours.

Wow (pun intended). I've always received eGift cards within a couple of hours of ordering.

The $100 ones usually come in a couple of hours. The higher value orders can be delayed to 1 to 2 days for various reasons. WW were being very careful once and actually rang me to verify that the order was genuine. The order was only $200 but it was one of the 7.5% discounted ones.

The last few times, I've ordered $500 'cards' with no delay to delivery by email. Once I ordered, 2 at once.

I'm the same with the plastic WISH cards, so maybe they know that is what I always order and don't fret.

I find it varies, from 15 minutes to two days if a weekend is involved.

I must be lucky then, however I don't recall ever ordering late on a Friday afternoon.

Just tried to sneak in and order some more myself but with the Big W link broken, I think I'll be waiting until Monday either way.

Order today took just over 5 hours to come through.

I must admit I do like the way you can enter a shorter number for the WoW eGCs vs the Coles' ones. So with the WoW I often just write down the number and pin for each eGC on a card that slips into my wallet.

Between using them for petrol across two cars with Saturday school sport adventures, food et al - it does not take long to plow through a $500 eGC. And I do enjoy the way AMEX works to buy them...

Unlike the only way I can access discounted Coles without surcharges.

I use the Woolworths banking app, in which you can store all types of WOW gift cards. It also lists the balance and transactions.

Received this one over night. Minimum spend of 5 cents because they miss me:shock:. Think I know which one I'll choose.

"For someone who regularly shops at Woolworths, it looks like you haven't earned as many Woolworths dollars..."

What is your spending pattern recently Meggsy, if you don't mind sharing?

A friend of mine spends $50-$100 per week at Woolworths but rarely buys products with Woolworths Dollars on them. Her targeted offers usually have goals of over $100 and she usually can't manage to reach them. I'm wondering whether she will be lucky enough to get the "We don't think you've earnt enough WWD" offer.

I have essentially stopped shopping at Woolworths and gone to Coles. If i have to shop at Woolies for anything I haven't been swiping my rewards card. If memory is correct I have swiped it only 2 or 3 times this year and that's been when a qantas points offer was available.

Almost seems totally random with the 5 family accounts (one of which I DID NOT KNOW ABOUT!!!!).

None have received a QFF or WoW offer - ever.

Recently, now the wash up on the FC gc purchases has passed - some have got the 4 week spend offer.

Just wish it could be Avios instead of QFF...

Same reward redemption was 4,000 Avios or 10,000 QFF. Same fees/charges on top.
Really wish I'd bothered to set up the other 4 in family for Avios as the Eur rtn trip was worth 5 one-way intra-Europe flights.

I think we used to call it Beef Luncheon but now we buy it as Devon. It's a soft deli meat, very pale in colour. It dries out very easily so you need to get it freshly cut and then packed very well.
I have known it as Devon for >30 years.

One of the accounts received the deli offer. Not sure if mum and dad purchased anything.

I thought this email today was a little sneaky:

"Hi DrRalph, want to earn $10 Woolworths Dollars?‏

Hi DrRalph,

Earn Woolworths Dollars when you shop.

Spend $100 or more in a single transaction at participating Woolworths supermarkets and earn $10 Woolworths Dollars*. Simply activate your offer and remember to scan your card when you shop.

Offer available from Wednesday 22 June to Tuesday 28 June, 2016."

Sounds like a good deal I though. Especially when combined with the $10 for spending $100 coupon on the front of this weeks catalogue.

But then right down the bottom of the same email I find this:

"You may also see this offer in this week's catalogue; by activating we're simply making it easier for you as a Woolworths Rewards member by loading this great offer to your card."

So a pointless offer indeed!
