I was able to view the eticket at Amadeus Itinerary Receipt (ITR) using my SQ PNR. J class for MH, P class for SQ and A class on LX
Thanks for the link. I was able to bring up my eTicket using my SQ PNR and it shows that Singapore Airlines is the issuing airline.
Interesting since my credit card was debited by Malaysian Airlines.
To confirm check the first three numbers of the e-ticket and this link http://www.kovrik.com/sib/travel/airline-codes.txt
SQ tickets start with 618.
I know this one is gone ... I got tix in Mark II ... but for future, when looking at multicity, what's the best way to go about it? Find availability through ITA then try it on a travel agent site? Just plug in random city pairs?
Finally received confirmations and e-tickets this morning, hurray. I could of booked a lot more but feel their is a moral side to it - I think the FT bunch turn into ravenous animals sometimes. Won't be going in a month either now, I figure the visa would be a rush and it's just plain cold over there, will wait for spring time! Since I couldn't book a return with the F segments, need to sort that one out too!
Depends on the type of error. This one I couldn't see any method besides plugging in different cities into various OTAs. Couldn't replicate the same booking on multiple sites either. Is that because it was a YY fare? Seems a lot more widespread this time. I still hold out hope that avoiding the SQ suites will make me a lesser target for cancellation, all part of the fun though.
Or maybe a SQ issued ticket would be better to have considering this quote:
"UAL Corp.'s United Airlines, Continental Airlines Inc., Southwest Airlines Co., JetBlue Airways Corp. and Singapore Airlines all
say their policy is to not cancel tickets even when a mistake is discovered, no
matter how large the error."

who knows
united has abandoned that as we saw with their 4 mile mistake fares. they said the original amount showed but was lowered to 4 miles on the payment page or something. they could do the same here (did anyone even get UA?)... if anyone selected business class, but was ticketed in first they could argue something.
unfortunately it would be very hard to use a newspaper article to hold a company to anything, unless you could show it was incorporated into their contract of sale. that's why the DOT has been a hugely positive step.
Selecting business the airline wouldn't even know, the fare is a F class fare, basis FIFOW3.
All going well I will be there in July; 16-24cI just realised i booked to go to Montreal in January, average high of -2C and average low of -10C. ouch! thats cold
you know what I mean. if its not that then it could be anything else. all I was pointing out is that UA has walked away from a mistake, and there is nothing binding on any other airline that has made a public statement (unless of course you can argue its part of your contract)
