First Qantas A220 revealed

Technically branded QantasLink.

Similarly in the US whether owned or franchised the sites seem to count the smaller subsidiaries separately.

Personally think (particularly for Qantas) you need to adjust for plane seat count.

Qantas youngest recent 'fleet age' was probably in 2006/7 when they had a chunk of very young 737s, but also a lot of older 747s.

My point was these aircraft are referred to by Qantas as 'Qantas' planes.

This applies also to the first two you mention, though not Jetstar aircraft.

They also refer to Express Freighters Australia as Qantas, so maybe we should group all planes under that banner? FWIW Airfleets list by operator or the AOC they operate under, which legally is the correct entity as registered.

Airfleets is exclusively (or primarily) concerned with passenger-carrying planes, not freighters.

Err no, they track fleets by AOC not purpose, eg https://www.airfleets.net/flottecie/Express Freighters Australia.htm

The BNE-MEL and MEL-BNE would be a good one to look at to assess how things are going (poorly) with the A220s as the QLink flights on that route would have been 100% A220.

I have three a220 flights between those ports in the next week, looking at recent performance on QF1262/QF1263 - I am dubious on if I will be on time.

Looks like I spoke too soon, my A220 flight to Melbourne is delayed an hour out of Brisbane tonight. Inbound looks to be running 1.5 hours late.
