Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

Interesting to read recent comments. It seems to me that with the Woolworths dollars and points offers being so dreadful that Coles don't have to have as attractive points offers as before.
I didn't receive any book of points offers, after my last book ended some month ago. Also I'm not receiving any point docket deals. And less email points deals. Usually if an email deal comes it's to spend 50% more than my usual spend to get some points, hence useless.

I am happy to report that all 64000pts from the recent GC MC promotion have appeared in my FB account in the past few hours.

74k through for me too. Will need to do a quick reconciliation on Monday-but great promo (hasnt helped my target spend for offers-currently $340)

Deluge of points dated Jun 17th. Just one lot of 1,000 points missing!! Given multiple purchases on each date that I did them - not sure it is worth my time trying to track them down.

Actually certain it is not WORTH the time but as a matter of principle....

That's a big call. Many, including myself would disagree. I get much more value out of Woolies targeted offers that I do for Coles.

There are massive opportunities to save $$$. You just have to work the system. Coles doesn't even come close!

I am glad that you do get targeted offers. After 40 years shopping at Woolworths any targeted offers to me dried up after their "enhancements". Hence Woolworths offers to me are dreadful.

I agree, I have not received any targeted email from Woolies since they changed to Money Reward, didn't even bother bring my reward card with me when I shop there anymore.

And you've just identified exactly why you don't get any offers. You need to play the game if you want the offers. Opportunities abound!

I think the targeted offers system has lost track of some of the accounts. Good luck getting Coles offers but if you go back to Woolworths the Flybuys offers will get better.

Try cancelling your Woolworths Rewards account and then opening a new account with the same details. This might re-set the system and get you some decent low target offers.

Agree they won't send you offers unless you scan sometimes.
Having said that I still scan on my (50% reduced) shopping at WW and only seem to get offers for online. Doesn't help that my local store doesn't do click & collect

With our range of family accounts it is apparent that WoW have attempted to do the $Wow system on the cheap and PERHAPS used multiple groups of consultants/software designers. Throw in some staff turnover and lack of decent documentation and eh voila - the mess we have today.

Offers do not seem to match any consistent criteria with our family's accounts taking extended holidays or changed spending patterns (or reciprocal patterns) with totally different results for similar aged account holders.

The issue with allowing gift card purchases to change so-called targeted offers is a major oversight.

Their system does not differentiate between spending on a once a year GC offer vs weekly grocery buying. I made the mistake of buying one GC on the wrong account (had been putting all the purchases on my account - worth some thousands). Realised I had miscalculated and needed one more and used the wrong card. Since then the offers to the two accounts have been identical despite historical weekly spend being 1/4 of the other account and the GC purchase being 1/30th.

Pay peanuts and you get monkeys! Or as the WoW results presentations have been showing - pay mega-bucks and still get monkeys.

Well, since I've been quite new to the system, I didn't even think of that :D. I think after reading a fair bit here I'll try to shop around a bit more. Shame that the closest and most convenient stores around me are Coles though.

I did my top up shopping today but didn't get any docket deals again. I didn't get any new email offers today which is very unusual for a Wednesday. I've got a couple of product based offers and a weekly coupon of 500 points for $40 spend but these don't make a big shop worthwhile. The only product based offer would be for something I don't usually buy and I don't want to take the risk on trying a new food only to find I've wasted my money.

If I don't get any more offers by Friday, I'll only be doing a very small shopping trip at Coles.

I have had two weeks of every single docket having a docket deal (useless at 1500pts on $170 spend) followed by two weeks of complete silence. Quite inconsistent communication.

No docket deals for a while now, but had an online offer of $90 for 1750 points. Used today, did not reach the 120 for my coupon book 1000 points.

I finally got a docket deal today. 1000 points for $50 spend at Coles. I got a triple points email offer for Coles for Thursday and Friday and I have a weekly triple points coupon. I have no idea why the triple points email is only valid for Thursday and Friday. Perhaps flybuys have something up their sleeve for the weekend. I'm busy on the weekend anyway so I'll have to do my shopping on the Friday anyway.

Still nothing, just an offer for triple points on Quinoa (I've never purchased this so no idea why), and 5 x points at shell when purchasing instore.

Nothing from WW either. Aldi is getting a good run.

I had an offer for Chobani last week. Made the purchase on the last day, yet no bonus points have posted yet.

Yes it's a small amount but normally FB are quite good with these offers getting posted promptly.

Yes, that is a bit of a worry. I've found that recent product based offers have posted within 2 days even if the promotion hasn't finished.
