Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

Yes, I know WW have the special on at the moment, but I don't have a targeted offer with WW at the moment so the best I can do on top of the half price special is 5% off with my discounted Wish cards. I'd rather combine my up and go targeted offer from flybuys with a half price special on Wednesday which is the last day of the email offer.

Ah, you're a gambler at heart!

Coles COULD be that silly but I would not think you will be in luck.

Best outcome is if you can see the C specials starting Wednesday before Tuesday night. As it stands, if no C special then the cash saving at W trumps the Cole FB offer.

Can you remember any time when a bonus points offer has over-lapped with a half price special at C? My fading memory doesn't recall any that I've noticed.

It's rare that the offers overlap but not impossible. If I'd a waited a few days on a Coke offer once, I would have picked up one of the new varieties almost for free by combining a special and a targeted offer.

Recently I had a targeted offer on a packet of breakfast cereal (750grams). The list price was $5 but it was on special for $3 per packet. I had a targeted offer for 400 points on the item. This brought the packet down effectively to $1 so I bought one box. I might buy it again in the future but I haven't decided yet. I had a couple of other targeted offers as well so the packet was probably less than $1 when you take the other offers into consideration.

I'll look up the Coles catalogue tonight and decide whether to shop at WW on Tuesday or Coles on Wednesday.

Thanks.

I did not realise the next week catalogue was available online from Monday night. Noted, and filed for future points use!

When I've seen the pile of next week's catalogues behind the counter at the service desk - I always ask if I can grab one early. They never give it out and say that they are embargoed until Wednesday morning. One late Tuesday night I pointed out that it was quite clear what items were to be on special as they had created the new aisle end displays already although the exact prices were still to be revealed - so I already knew not to purchase any of those items that night.

Answer was still no!

Yes, just saw that list.

My offer is on the 6 packs of Up and Go, not the 3 packs.

I'll probably get some 6 packs of Choc Ice Up and Go tomorrow at Woolworths and then get some 3 packs from Coles when I do my main Coles shop later in the week.

I must admit to having a look at the up and go when I went past during my lunchtime today. Oh well.

No new email offers from Flybuys today, just a reminder about my triple points offer.

My guess is that there will be a 4 week offer starting this Friday which will have 10 days in Week 1. I'm not rushing out Friday to do my shopping until I know the offer status. I've got time this weekend to do a $50 shop at Coles so I'll just wait and see what happens. If I don't get a 4 week offer with a $50 target, I'll just do a $40 shop and use my weekly coupon for 500 points.

I got a triple points docket deal today so I'll use that next time I do a $50 shopping trip.

I have not seen much offer lately... Feeling like I'm missing out :( starting a new card today though since I've used up all my flybuys points for the old ones, feeling like I've got quite an achievement actually. This time I won't waste any offers!! Gahhhh!!!

Those point offers for full priced items (that are often on special with W coincidentally) that work out at roughly half or less the price Coles have those same items on special - INSULTING!

Question: If there offer is 200 points - do you get it for just one item or do you get it 4x if you buy 4 of them?

My guess is that the offers are multiple use. If it is a one use, one item deal then this is usually stated in the terms and conditions.

Got offer for 1000 bonus points if spent $60 at Liquorland (or 500 if spent $40) today. I would take this offer if my spirit shelf is not already full of stuff from Duty free. Maybe get a few $10 6 packs stuff that they have been giving for coupons recently.

I'm getting good at predicting these 4 week offer promotions from Flybuys. I think I've recognised the pattern of offers they use leading up to these types of offers the last 3 times they've started them.

My 4 week offer is spend $50 per week to get 10,000 points after the last transaction. The first week runs for 10 days starting tomorrow.

I can either shop for week 1 this week or next week. This week I also have a 500 point coupon so I'll choose this week over next week which only has a triple points coupon. I'll spend my $50 this week and next week I'll just spend the bare minimum at Coles and then stock up the following week.

I think the weekly coupons will have finished by the time this 4 weeks is over. Hopefully more coupons will come ready to combine with the next 4 week offer.

My offer is Spend $110 or more in one transaction each week for 4 weeks and choose 10,000 points or $50.

Not going to happen Flybuys.

Meh, $130 for me. I have basically stopped shopping (and spent very little) since the last $110 for 4 wks. Not sure why they think I'll spend more this time. Ah well.

I got a 4 x $80 for 10K which is about my upper limit spend, so I will probably buy some higher priced items to hit the $80 each week as my weekly average spend is between $50 & $60.

Thanks.

Tuesday night is a magical time where you can get both weeks' specials at once. Once they start putting up the new tickets they must turn on the special pricing, since otherwise they'd be advertising false prices. You do need to remember what the previous specials were though.

Meanwhile, 4x$120 for 10,000 points here too. Been getting a lot of product bonus points offers that haven't been interesting.

I did my week 1 shopping today but there were 2 things missing from my receipt. There was no fuel voucher and there was no "Congratulations on completing week 1" message. My flybuys details were there so the base points should show up in the account. If I don't get a message in week 2 then at least I'll have the base points from each week to prove my case if there is a problem at the end of week 4. I checked my account and the offer is showing as activated.
