Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

I had an offer for Chobani last week. Made the purchase on the last day, yet no bonus points have posted yet.

Yes it's a small amount but normally FB are quite good with these offers getting posted promptly.

Yeah I got the same offer too, bought the Chobani and points never arrived. I just cant be bothered calling up to deal with it.

If anyone gets the Coles catalogue starting next Wednesday, July 6 ahead of time, would you please check if Up and Go Standard 6 packs are on special.

I've got a targeted offer for 400 points per 6 pack which ends on July 6. The retail price is $8 something and I usually buy them at $4 something or $4 even when they go on half price special. It's not worth buying them at the moment as they are listed as full price in the online store and I haven't seen any evidence they are on special in the store. The 400 points would take the full price item down to about $6 which is more than I usually pay. If they go on special next Wednesday I could combine a couple of offers and get a really good effective price on the product. Woolworths have them on half price special this current specials period and I've seen the Up and Go half price promotions move supermarkets on a weekly basis.

The offer doesn't specifically say it can be used on multiple items in the one transaction but it also doesn't set a limit on how many points can be gained on the offer. Usually single use and single item offers state the maximum points somewhere in the transaction. If the half price special starts on the Choc Ice Standard 6x250ml packs next week I'll probably buy 9 or 10 packs at a time. I've got less than a months worth in my stockpile so it's time for a re-stock given the right circumstances.

Terms of the offer as follows:
"Up & Go Offer
Offer valid only at Coles Supermarkets, Coles online and Bi-Lo (excludes Coles Express), subject to store availability. To qualify for this offer you must activate this offer and present your flybuys card at the time of purchase. No rainchecks. 400 BONUS POINTS will be collected when you purchase Up&Go Energize Choc 6x250ml, Up&Go Choc Ice 6x250ml, Up&Go Vanilla Ice 6x250ml, Up&Go Strawberry 6x250ml or Up&Go Banana 6x250ml at Coles between Thu 30 June and Wed 6 July 2016. You have been specifically selected for this offer and it is not transferable. This offer has been sent to you by flybuys. flybuys' privacy policy applies. Standard flybuys terms and conditions apply and are available at flybuys.com.au."

I've got an offer for the same product but for only 200 points! :( I'll check what the costs are next Wednesday (They were $8.65 tonight)

The points actually arrived tonight!

I'm fairly sure I've had that offer and it posted fairly promptly. This was a more recent offer for Chobani.

I'm going to try and maximise my offers this weekend depending on prices

I have the following I'll attempt to use
- Spend $30 for 500 points
- Triple points for largest shop
- 150 points on Freedom Foods Crunch Bars
- 250 points on 24/7 Breakfast Grains range
- 200 points on Nature Valley Popcorn bars ($4 each)
- 400 points on 6 pack Up and Go
- 200 points on Nice and Natural Nut Bar range

I also have a spend $70 to earn 1000 points but I won't achieve that

I usually alternate between buying the above so it's not like I'm going out of my way buying those items

Similar offers (bar the $30 for 500).

Points by themselves are only half the equation. When the points offer is considered vs the price on the products (and the time value of money as well as future devaluation of points...) - that is what needs to be crunched.

For example with the 200 points offer for the N&N bars when they are on special (about every second week when you combine C and WoW) they are $1.99. Full price around $4. So 200 points is less than half the value of the regular special price. So mad to use the 200 points offer. Also not obvious that the offer is for only one item not for multiple items purchased of same product.

If that's the case then it is a significantly worse offer than even first blush.

The offers are not made to benefit us as customers.

That is what you ALWAYS need to bear in mind.

Offered 1500 points for $120 spend this week, compared to 1,750 points for $90 which I achieved last week. A bit of an overreach, no chance of hitting that. Woolies might actually get a few dollars from me this week.

ours was 2000 bonus points for $240+ shop. didn't think we'd manage but in Mt Isa visiting daughter and stocked her up on a few items and made the target...of course next offer will be even higher:(

Ended up spending $30.98! (if only my bananas or apples were 5 grams heavier and I wouldn't have had to buy a $1 choc bar to tip me over the line)

$30 for 500 points, triple points (90), 150 points on Freedom Foods crunch bars, 200 points on popcorn bars, 200 points on nice and natural bars.
Total 1140 ($5.70) points for $31 spend. If Up and Go are on special on Wednesday I'll purchase them.

Offered 1500 points for $110 for this weekend.

Big shop already done. Got a docket deal on a small shop, 1500 points for $110 valid until 12th.

500 points for $30 shop this week. Plus triple points at Coles till Thursday.

Can I still use a coupon and a docket together?

You can still use coupons and docket deals together. Just make to wait until the first docket shows up after you scan it before attempting to scan the second coupon. The new checkout system is very slow and sometimes misses some of the dockets/coupons.

I got a weekend emailoffer of 1000 points for $50 spend which would have worked out well with my usual weekly spend, however knowing it was such a crazy weekend I knew I wouldn't get a chance to do shopping so I went on Friday.

Email triple points offer for Monday to Wednesday.

My new triple points offer runs from Monday to Thursday.

Now where is that half price up and go special I'm waiting for.

same here. Triple points Monday to Thursday

Apologies, turns out mine is Mon to Thurs.

Notably this coincides with my bonus points coupon week, not my triple points week, which makes it even less likely I'll hit my overly high ($120) bonus point target.

Time for a second family account perhaps?

Nothing like splitting bills across two cards?

Woolworths! (Pardon my 'swearing in this thread...)

Yes, I know WW have the special on at the moment, but I don't have a targeted offer with WW at the moment so the best I can do on top of the half price special is 5% off with my discounted Wish cards. I'd rather combine my up and go targeted offer from flybuys with a half price special on Wednesday which is the last day of the email offer.
