Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

4 X $150 = 15k offer for me.

Only got the email yesterday and Week 1 ends Sunday April 17. Nothing like notice.

I've activated it but I'm not going to chase it. We'll be on holiday in Melbourne from tomorrow so regular grocery shopping won't be on our agenda.

Plus it's a bit of a rich spend for four weeks in a row.

Is this a bit odd 2 deals with the same time to activate for different amounts?

The target for both offers is the same, $140.

You get to choose the reward. Do you want a $75 credit on your flybuys card which must be used in one transaction at Coles as a discount off your shop, you only have about a month to use it and you can't earn any flybuys points on that part of the value of the transaction or do you want the 15,000 points (worth $75 in flybuys dollars) which you can convert into any reward you like?

If you choose the points option you can convert the points to flybuys dollars which can be used in as many transactions as you like as a payment method. You can earn base and bonus points on the whole transaction even though you used flybuys dollars to pay for it. The points option is more powerful if you are using flybuys dollars or you can find a reward which gives you a better rate than 0.5cents per $1 value.

Oh, OK thanks I get it. Apologies for not readying it properly. I do pay scant attention to these outrageously high jumps for points offers. And, if I were to somehow want to spend so much, I agree, I'd go for points - to fly with EY.

I got a triple points email offer at Coles which runs from Saturday until next Wednesday.

I wasn't expecting this order and did my week 1 $50 transaction today. It's very unusual for flybuys to send out these types of offers on a Friday and even more unusual for them to send them out during a 4 week promotion. Perhaps they think this will be an extra incentive to start the 4 week campaign. I used my week 12 coupon today as well as a couple of docket deals with my transaction.

I am wondering if the triple points email offer is a way of keeping people interested now that the coupon promotion has finished. Perhaps this is a one off type of offer while they sent out the next batch of coupons (which given the current Australia Post situation will take much longer to deliver than previous coupon promotions).

I got this email as well, so it will cover my week 2 shopping which I was going to do Monday because I have a docket for double points from my week 1 shopping.

Will the triple points email stack with the double points docket giving me 5x points?

Nope, the original points plus 2x and 1x the original spend. So all up 4x in total.

JessicaTam is correct. The base points are only credited once. I'm now considering doing my week 3 bulk shopping on Wednesday. Or I could wait until later in the week just in case they throw in another type of late week email like this. I guess I'll just wait and see. I thought I had flybuys figured out but now I'm not so sure. I'm sure they want to be seen as unpredictable rather than predictable.

Today I was very happy to stack:
- Triple points offer, received by email, commenced today
- Triple points Week 12 statement coupon, ended today
- Double points checkout coupon that had almost expired
- Week one of my Spend $110 for 4 weeks to get the 15k points

$110 is a bit steep, but has been the recent spend target for all of my large X,000 point email offers lately. Easily achievable when shopping for two. All up, happy with 6x points plus week one spend of the 15k target.

I have got a triple points email for my highest spend until tomorrow activated, a current 1000pt docket deal and week 2 of my 4x50 to spend.

Therefore, on my $50 shop tonight, I should earn 1150pts and satisfy my week 2 spend if I can stack all three together?

For information, do gift vouchers actually satisfy the spend requirements for these deals?

All gift vouchers are excluded from the promotion. This exclusion probably also excludes things like itunes cards and recharge vouchers. These last two weren't mentioned specifically but some stores class any type of pre paid value card as a gift card.

You will be able to stack the offers you mentioned.

Got a 1000 points for $140 spend docket deal a few days ago, which matches the 4 weeks of $140 for 15,000 points (or $75) offer that I'm not taking up.

And we got a coupon book today, which has 1000 points for $150 spend coupons that will go wanting. Time to sign up for a new card in my name I think.

Book arrived for me today.

6x $120 for 1,000, 6x triple points, 8x coles branded garbage with bonus points.

Aligning with a 1,000 for $120 docket deal, ill be hoping to recieve a targeted email to use week 1, along with a week towards the 15k over 4 weeks.
