Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

The Apple website appears to call them gift cards so I think you will have to rack this up to experience. I will still go for the week 4 spend if you have got this far....

I agree, not worth the trouble fighting this one (with such an esoteric argument). Still two lots of $130 groceries in a single week is hard to swallow - see what I did there ;)

I had to get the staff member to approve the coupons. I think Coles have changed the self checkout system so that all coupons need approval now.

This happened to me too, around the same time I stopped getting docket deals / email promotions.

Wonder if the game may have changed somewhat.

I wonder if flybuys can help here? The message I got on the screen was put the item aside and wait for the assistant. I am wondering if it is just a computer bug. I can't see what the benefit is to Coles of authorising every coupon code.

I'm still getting docket deals each week on a Wednesday morning using the self checkout so I don't think the staff authorisation issue and generating docket deals are connected.

Very interesting timing. Watch the expiry date of the $ off the next shop. You sometimes only get a week or less to use it.

I'm wondering whether more of those offers will come out. I completed my week 4 of 4 yesterday but I'm still waiting for the 10,000 points to be credited. I wonder whether this means Coles will be moving away from the 3 week and 4 week offers and into these $ off your next shop as the regular or semi regular offer.

Got this one too, except my thresholds were $40 and $80.

Wonder if this is a tester to see whether people prefer these to FB points.

Normally Coles have given you FB points instead, easily converted to coles $ if you wish.

I'd actually prefer the points. Flybuys pays bonus points really quickly now so I convert them to flybuys dollars straight away and use these as a payment method. Paying with points rather than using a voucher as a discount can be much more powerful and save money in the long run.

Went shopping tonight.

1st thing i did was scan a paper voucher (triple points / mail out).

Screen then asked me to put coupon aside and scan it at the end (huh, since when?).

Then (long story short), at the very end after FB card and voucher scanned again, assistance required to authorise (pardon me, might we have a fake voucher?) discount voucher!

What is going on here!

Used flybuys card, paper voucher & "online week 2 of 3 offer: spend $80+).

Got this one too, except my thresholds were $40 and $80.

Same. Shopped today and told the checkout clerk to stop at ~$40 since I knew I wouldn't reach $80. Paid, then put the rest through with the $10 coupon on the receipt I got from the first transaction. More work for them, more savings for me!

I managed to make it to the fourth week for my 10,000 points. However the docket gave no indication I had reached the target. I will be keeping an eye on my account to see that it credits correctly. Fortunately I have kept all four receipts.

Scanned both a double points voucher and a 1000 points voucher at self checkout in Vic and no staff intervention required.

Today it's docket deals. Two days ago it's from the coupon booklet. No staff intervention both times.

The Coles I visited today have just "upgraded" their checkout registers and receipts. The flybuys number on the receipt is now the barcode number rather than the membership number. I'm having more problems seeing the items on the screens so for various reasons I don't like the new system.
