Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

I got the 10x points offer as well. It's valid until Thursday. I think I'll wait until Thursday to do my shopping and figure out which other offers I can combine it with.

Last time flybuys ran a useful offer from Monday to Thursday they launched a 4 week offer on the Friday with the first week lasting 10 days. I wonder if they will do this again.

Redeemed a 1000 points for $120 targeted email, 1000 points for $120 week 3 coupon, and a double points docket deal today. No cashier validation required, and received a 1500 points for $120 docket deal valid for 14 days which will time nicely with my week 5 coupon and hopefully another targeted email.

10x points on my largest shop over the next days.

They love me again too!

I wonder whether the 1,000 bonus points per $100 prepaid Coles MC could fall under this....

99.99% probability it won't but I'm buying a couple of dozen more anyway over the next few days (that offer runs until 18 May).

You never know...

My 10x offer said gift cards excluded (as usual) and I would imagine that Coles treat the MC's as gift cards, but as you said you never know. Plus stranger system peculiarities have certainly occurred...

I'm sure it would only be 10x base (not bonus) points. The system does seem to be able to recognise the prepaid cards as giftcards as it doesn't trigger spend targets, so possible no 10x bonus at all on the giftcard component

Also received the 10x bonus points offer which is valid from Mon to Thu plus a bunch of product specific bonus points offer valid for this week.

Took advantage of the 10x offer today and stacked it with a couple of bonus points coupons from the booklet and a double points docket deal.

Operator approval was required for the product specific bonus points coupons from the booklet but not the triple points coupon (also from the booklet). The double points docket deal did not require any operator approval either.

I used 3 coupons and 1 docket deal last Friday morning.

Only one of the coupons for Coles frozen vegetables required authorisation at the self serve.

Strangely enough the frozen coupon and a coupon for Mix clothing haven't been credited yet, even though the other coupons and the email offers I took up have been credited.

This is very unusual as Flybuys have been really quick in crediting coupons and offers recently. I've been very impressed.

Still nothing from Coles. Must have been spending too much money there

Might go in this week and spend $10, see if it triggers something.

Buying those prepaid MC cards have me now facing a "Spend $320 over 3 weeks and earn $50 or 1,000 Fly Buys points."

Considering the MC spend does not normally earn points it seems a major flaw in their system to use it in setting spending hurdles for points...

Same with just about any GC you purchase...

Veeeery interesting email came through just now

Mrs excel: save $50 off your next shop!

Spend $90 or more in one transaction each week for 4 weeks and choose... $50 to spend at coles or 10,000 bonus points.

It's interesting because my previous 4 week spend target was $110, which I reached every week, and my current docket deals and coupon book have $120 spend targets.

Edit: also interesting because they seem to be fighting WWR on the "choose points or cash discount" method.

My target for the 4 weeks was $50 for a 10,000 point reward at the end. I should be able to take it up.

I spent just under $10 today for my 10x points offer. I moved some of my purchase to Woolworths so I could take up one of their offers. I scanned my weekly coupon as well for triple points but I don't think the scan worked properly as the coupon didn't show up on my receipt. The Coles I went to have just "upgraded" their self checkout system and I really don't like the new system. It's harder to see the items both on the initial screen and on the receipt and the flybuys barcode number is printed on the receipt instead of the membership number which is annoying.

Well Coles will have no hope with getting me shopping there with the offer they sent me -

I have to spend $ 140 a week for 4 weeks !!! to get the $ 50 OR 10,000 flybuys points !

That's interesting. Last time flybuys had a 4 week offer they offered 15,000 to the members who had a target above $100. I wonder why they lowered the reward.

After the first 4 week offer our targets have always been over $100 for the 4 weeks and it has always been $50 or 10000 points. It actually got up to over $200 per week but is slowly coming down.

This is one time that I don't want to be the winner with spend $320.
