Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

Got a good one on the weekend - lumped a triple points email offer with triple points coupon and double points docket deal.

Spent $15.95 - got 90 pts.

No coupons yet but I'm in regional NSW so might take longer.

Just remember, Australia post services have been stripped back. So probably means we all get coupons a day or two later.

Surprisingly my coupon alternate weeks stay the same. $30 for 500 points, triple points next week.

Couple of Liquorland offers. Couple of coughpy coles homebrand cough offers.

My coupons are 500 points for $50 alternating with triple points - happy with that as down from $70 last time. I only used some of the triple points coupons in the last round and none of the spend $70 coupons. My current 10k target is 4 weeks at $50 per week so everything is nicely aligned now.

My coupons are 1,000 points for $80 alternating with the triple points. Unfortunately away for one of the 1,000 point weeks but with the Liquorland and other offers should add nicely to my EY miles balance.

Another run of coupons with a realistic spend after this one will put me over the line for a EY F Apartment award LHR-MEL. :D

My coupons arrived today. Spend $40 for 500 points alternating with triple points. I should be able to use all of them. I'll probably end up spending $50 on some weeks as I doubt I'll get a docket deal or a 4 week offer on $40. It's more likely to be $50 or $60. The other coupons aren't much good but I should be able to use the ones for dip and frozen vegetables. I wish they'd go back to the old style extra coupons which let you choose any meat products for bonus points or any fruit and vegetables. The bakery ones were also good. Most of the coupons are for products I don't buy.

After not taking up the $140/week for 4 weeks for 15,000 FB points, I got a second-chance $120/week for 3 weeks to get 5,000 points. Not activating this one either.

Fly Buys Targeted Bonus Promotions

My Fly-buys Coupons arrived yesterday.
Some coupons are triple points for the biggest shop in the week , whilst others are 500 bonus points on a $70 shop, plus a few 10x points at Liquorland, and a few product specific bonus point coupons.

Certainly not as attractive as the coupons sent out in December, although still leaps and bounds better than the offers ( or lack thereof ) coming from the 'other' supermarket chain.

Still no coupons here, must have missed out.

Still no targeted rewards either. Back to WW!

If you haven't had any email targeted offers for about a month, try unsubscribing from all flybuys emails and then resubscribe a few minutes later. A friend of mine who hadn't received any offers for about two months did that and then received an offer the following week. I think the flybuys system loses track of members from time to time.

The 10k FB pts have credited to my account from the current 4x$50 deal.

I note that I have not received any docket deals or any bonus point emails since I stacked a 1000pt docket deal with a triple point email a couple of weeks ago.

Same here - first week of the 4 week promo

I guess I was very fortunate then - docket deals for weeks 1,2 (2 this week) and 4 and triple points email deal for week 2. Weeks 1 and 2 docket deals generated by very small 'trigger' shops. 10k bonus has posted.

SWMBO tried to achieve the final 4 weeks x $$$ deal today and reached the required spend by purchasing an iTunes top-up. She mentioned that the docket didn't say "Congratulations" after achieving the spend which is normal for the last week of a deal like this... only later we checked the TnC to find that "gift cards" are excluded spend (I would have guessed this would be the case). Strictly, an iTunes topup is not a "gift card", indeed there is nowhere on the iTunes card that says "Gift Card", and the TnC don't mention iTunes cards as an exclusion (some other deals do specifically mention iTunes cards) so I am a bit miffed. I really don't like the idea of having to spend $$$ again in one transaction to complete the week 4 spend.

The Apple website appears to call them gift cards so I think you will have to rack this up to experience. I will still go for the week 4 spend if you have got this far....

I completed week 4 of the 4 week promotion for 10,000 points. I only needed a few items to make it to $50, most of that being fresh meat packages. I decided to use the self checkouts as there was only one regular checkout open at the time. I scanned my week 2 coupon and my double points docket deal. I had to get the staff member to approve the coupons. I think Coles have changed the self checkout system so that all coupons need approval now.
