Gift Cards at Supermarkets

Hi,

I bought some gift cards (Myer and WW) with my Plat Edge card and no points were accredited to this purchase. Is this correct? I was under the assumption that they would be.
I also had a huge problem buying them as apparently the new software would not approve anything over $500...it took over an hour to have every man and his dog approve them as apparently there were some *dodgy* scams concerning the ATO... LOL

No WW or Coles points unless there is an offer on. Should get your Amex points though

No, that's what I meant, sorry. No Amex points posted on the latest statement for these purchases from WW. $2400 worth of WW gift and Myer gift cards. I wanted to check here first before I called them. All the other spend was credited for the month.

Bought from where? I have certainly earnt points (*3) on giftcard purchases in the past when buying via cashrewards/AGL Rewards/Ent. Book.

anyone paid syd water with V1 cards?

Seems I can only put through $100 every few hours or so (tried one before bed and now this morning and went through)
tried 2 one after another last night and the second got rejected

in the past paid using paypal and no surcharge for 2ppd but had some V1 so thought Id wear the 0.4% and earn 3ppd

Yes. Add them to your wallet. 10 card maximum. But just delete these as you use them.

Your choice. But for me the no fee option with PayPal makes complete sense.

I previously paid with Paypal using my AMEX, but it seems AMEX has caught on and only gave me 0.5 ppd on my last Telstra and Sydney Water bill.

I've paid with V1 doing $100 a day. I must admit I've been too lazy to do Dr Ralph's PayPal step
