Any volunteers for MEL dispatch?

Everything is almost in place to finalise the final team for the GCC - but is there anyone who lives in MEL who would want to be the MEL dispatcher?

There is one nominee so far but they have indicated that they would not be optimal (due to unable to sign for a package on the weekday).

The alternative is to have a second SYD dispatcher, however it will be recognised that this will take slightly longer and since people can't meet in MEL may require more funds to cover postage.

If you can be a dispatcher for MEL, please let me know via email or on this thread. I'll be offline until at least 2000h AEST (1800h Singapore time).

Just to let you know that we've finalised a 3rd dispatch address (another SYD one) and the final team has now been fully registered and paid for.

Starter packs should be coming from GCC HQ soon (if not already), with dissemination of those starter packs to be coordinated not long after hopefully in time for the start of the competition on 19 May 2011.

Update: Starter Packs

All members should have received an email from me regarding the coordination of the distribution of starter packs.

Thanks again to markis10, steptoe and Skoogle for volunteering to oversee the distribution of starter packs.

Please note that the distribution of starter packs is mainly at the mercy of the GCC HQ and how fast they can get the boxes of packs to our dispatchers. After that, hopefully it will just be a matter of short time for the mail from the dispatchers to you.
