Heads up about program changes

If they decide to reduce partner earnings, would they have to then give us another 3 months notice as per T&C, or would the previous notification of changes serves as the 3 months notice?

New SC table appears to have disappeared from the launch website, replaced by any even more bizarre points table.

Frequent Flyer - Fairer Flying

Down the bottom there are 6 categories of mid-range/international/longer/ultra-long but with no actual distance requirements listed.

This image on the webpage sums it up pretty well, they're completely lost!

So "simple" that you need to jump back and forth between, pages, definitions.

Even Qantas can't get it right.

Simpler Fairer My cough as they say in the classics... How the hell can you stuff up just about every change and not get details right what a bunch of amateurs they must have working for them.

I can not recall one recent change and or launch that has hit the web and run correctly. lets not talk about Aquire and the huge security issue. Really come on Qantas how hard can it be?

We've been too quick to judge. I mean, look at the new table. Under the fairer and simpler system one only needs to fly one flight from east coast USA to west coast USA in discount economy and earn a huge 1,350 status credits. I know I'll be taking a screenshot of that in preparation of my next Boston-Los Angeles flight with AA in O.

Has Qantas just become the easiest oneworld airline in which to earn status?

oooooh, I'm over there next week. Wonder if I have a spare day?

Admittedly I try my best at times to defend QF but now I give up :(
Their program, their right to initiate changes but seriously two months on and we are still in the dark about partner earning.
I'm about to pull the trigger on a J rtn to LHR for Sep and looking at this dogs breakfast (coupled with the $9.2K they are asking for my flight) will need to go with another airline and possibly program.
This is no way to retain customer loyalty.
Total joke and it's not even funny

Fly with MH and credit to QFF, you should get more than 37,200 SC with the new table!

Also appears that table has appeared in the t&cs but like previously no sc table, just a link back to the changes website

Yes - this really is getting ridiculous. It's just simply not good enough to have so many hiccups with this "enhancement". A BAEC style calculator that allows you to select the airline and route should have been available from day one. These tables are a mess and it is completely nonsensical that you should have to flick between tables to follow zones and definitions.

don't forget!

what you are seeing now has probably taken time because of the need to discuss with internal and external stakeholders. and only a single communication is preferred because it provides consistency!

unless there is a different process for the time table department and the frequent flyer department?

Why is it that this process seems to recall the trite saying

"And the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing"

May I should forget about QF SG for this year... Oh yes, it was about USA lounge access

Happy wandering

I like this category: International flights between New Zealand and Singapore/Chile. Since when did SQ or NZ become a partner?
