The promotion that is going round atm for a status match to Platinum (apparently a guaranteed upgrade). If anyone has done it, how long did it take to go thru. I think it said 10 working days and I have been waiting now for over 14 days so am wondering if I have a problem

So for an update...after over 5 weeks, sending 5 online requests, using 2 different computers and 3 different types of browser, 1 email and 1 phone call plus using their online chat, I still haven't had any luck sending the request .:evil:
Then it dawned on me, some idiot (me) was trying to send jpg files far far too big. I reduced both down to the minimum and the request went thru without hesitation.

If anyone else is having trouble sending, try that

Thanks for that tip. It doesn't mention a max size, do you know what file size you end up sending successfully?

Originally I was trying to send 1.2mb each file but ended up reducing them down to 12.6kb for the copy of the card and 104.1kb for the copy of the account

I applied to status match Accor platinum to HH Diamond about a week ago. Haven't heard anything & still showing as gold in the HH app.
How long does it usually take for the status match to process and have there been any issues re Accor?

WooHoo, Gone from Hilton Blue to Hilton Diamond with a status match from IHG Spire elite. Took 72 hours to go thru

HH matched my IHG Gold and I am now HH Gold again. Took about 3 days.

So for an update #2.....after the hassles detailed in post #6, I have now moved from HH blue to HH diamond. Took approx 72 hours to process. All's good now, just having problems getting deposits refunded by Westin hotels so that I can make new HH bookings, but thats another story...

My diamond came through last night - status matched Accor Platinum I got from Amex. Pretty happy. Took a week all up. Have a Conrad stay coming up.
Not sure how to delete my gold card from my iPhone and replace it with diamond. 1st world problems.

I had my IHG gold match to HH Gold 3 or 4 months ago - I will earn IHG platinum elite soon and am curious if anyone has successfully gone back for a higher level match?

$64 000 question. Many airlines say once only, but I'm not convinced many of them have the ability to fulfill the rhetoric!

They do not seem to be once off in the past but things can change, of course, moving forwards.

Status match was approved for me. Accor Gold to Hilton Gold .

I'll be hitting Accor platinum soon so hoping to get a status match back to Hilton Diamond - where I've been for ages but have just dropped back to Gold. Pretty silly of HH not to offer people such as me (regular stayers, at Diamond level) a quick way to re-earn Diamond staying at Hilton properties. Instead I'm directing business elsewhere to get it!
