HHonours Status Match

Nice last hurrah for the Amex Accor platinum benefit (that's where I got mine from)
What's that? I wouldn't mind staying at the Port Douglas Sea Temple, which is now an Accor, so if the plat is easy, it might just lure me in a bit!

I'm one stay away from Accor Plat - will need to send off a SM request to HH to have my HH Silver bumped back to Diamond

I also got Accor Plat matched to Diamond. Took well over a month - I didn't chase it or follow up.

Have now booked 2 x Hilton stays in Europe.

I did weeks ago but no mail so far. I'll call them to inquire.
I only received mine mid May. Applied and received the status match at the start of the most recent status match promotion, Start of April? So took about 6 weeks, roughly, to arrive.

When I did this status match it was to matched until March 2018, but where abouts in your HHonors home page or profile does it show Mar 18 as the expiry date of our diamond membership ??

Under Account Overview click on HHonours Card. Just checked mine and no longer shows an expiry date so maybe someone else may have another method.

Hilton are doing status match, 'up to Diamond', again. Expires 30/06/16

<Had to take link out due to postcount>

Conditions:
Acceptable forms of status validation include a screenshot of your current account status or your membership card. Acceptable forms of stay validation include a screenshot of your previous reservations or hotel receipt, redacting any personal information other than your name and membership number. We accept .jpg files only. Please do NOT send us any personal information (including your phone number, address, social security number, date of birth, user name, passwords, or credit card information).

Just need proof of membership and proof of recent stays.

Anybody have any success with either Accor Plus Platinum or SPG gold and to which level did you get matched?

Hmmm, your link just redirects me to the main Hilton page.

EDIT: Ok worked when I copied the link from other site. Weird

I have just lodged a SM request through the webpage. But I haven't received any acknowledgment that the request went through (either email, or from the page itself). Did everyone else get some kind of acknowledgment??

EDIT: - just tried again with slightly smaller files and it worked.

Status matched Accor Plat to Hilton Diamond. Came through in about 72 hours. Valid to March 2018. Will save me thousands of dollars (I don't punt on upgrades so if I want EL access I will book a room/rate that will guarantee it). But worthwhile as otherwise I'd have been booking more Accor properties for the next 18 months. Now I'll have decent choice.

Still surprised HH didn't offer me a challenge to get back to Diamond by staying at Hilton properties. Instead, I stayed pretty heavily at several Sofitel, Pullman and Novotel hotels for work and personal travel - and now have status with both.

Well done, congrats, but my question was: where does it show in our profile the expiration date of March 2018. Will it really happen or will we be shafted at the start of next year and have to try and fight our entitlement (with nothing on our profile)

The email I received says 2018. Have kept it and will do my best not to accidentally delete!

I don't think it shows in your account. do you have a concern, or just wondering, as I can't recall this being a problem. HH has generally been pretty good about the expiry of the status match (with the exception of two posts from a number of years ago.....me being one of them).

No I don't really have any concerns, its just that if I look at my status on the web it says "based on stays this year, your 2017 tier would be Silver, To maintain Diamond status in 2017 you will need....etc.

I am just a suspicious, un-trusting SOB when it comes to Hotels, Car rentals, airlines and almost anything in life LOL:)

Might be easier to email the Diamond Desk: [email protected]
