The certificate is not going to cost Macquarie/Hilton much, but it will certainly leave us with a good impression of both organisations into the future.

Free Gold/Diamond for an additional two years and for some an additional reward certificate are pretty decent parting gifts. I'm definitely disappointed to lose the card and will likely change now that is finally gone, but i do feel like parting gifts compensate to some extent.

No. I basically keep the same fee I was paying with the Hilton card which was not free as I've had it a while.

Mine was (is) $295 and will also be looking at the Macquarie Qantas version as well as others. A sign-on bonus will be a portion of the decision making process so other provider options are well in the mix

I called Hilton today and my Diamond status earned through the card is valid through end of March 2020. Anyone else get just a year? I will contact Macquarie and ask about it.

I was going to give them a day or two. It's Hilton that have to do it, and they get to May 1 some hours after us!

Well I scored the extra weekend cert, so that was good.

Now have a month to decide on what to do. Close or go QFF card. Time for a market scan!

Curious whether it shows 2021 on your HHonors Account Overview page, as well? (I think you need to check via a browser rather than the app)
Mine is showing 2020, there, and wondering if I should get in touch.

And another data point - I also received the [promise of a] final reward weekend night certificate... though I've not spent a cent since the last one after application and initial qualifying spend! (12 months ago)

I’m looking at this NAB card as an option, together with the Macquarie Qantas option. There are others with higher QFF points but the spend/T&C’s don’t look as positive for my situation. Also debating personal or corporate card.

HH account page still shows 2020 though.

Went to use my new Black replacement card today and was declined. Apparently not the only one experiencing this due to a dud card batch so suggest doing a test if looking to use the card OS after 1 July.

Was your card embossed? My card is not embossed with the credit card number. Not sure if its by design or part of that faulty batch. Will find out when I go to use it I guess...
