So it looks like they are offering this promo for non gold/diamond members? or are they thinking about removing this benefit from gold/diamond members and doing this instead...?

Anyone had successful points/stay credited for this promo? I had a stay in late June @ Hilton Brisbane and over 4 weeks on, I am still battling with Hilton for the points to be credited. I keep on getting the scripted message from the HiltonHonors Customer Care that my booking was made via a third party booking site and pointed me towards the usual T&Cs. Just interested to know if I'm the only one

You are not. I did not get points or a stay credited (2 rooms HSYD) and have given up. After the first email they said they do not credit for sites like Expedia and gave me 2,000 points to shut me up. After the second email they said "Sorry, we note that you did receive this rate through the Hilton site but it is not eligible. Here is another 3,000 points". The next email just was blunt and I gave up after that. Probably should have got at least another 5000 points had they honoured this. I can't see anything in the T&C's to say that you do not receive points. Mind you, my stay (1 room HSYD) two weeks before this using the exact same method, received full points.

No problem with points posting from my stay at the Hilton Auckland.

Thanks earlyriser. I am now up to correspondence number 6 with Hilton and was also insulted by a 1200 points as good will to shut me up which infuriated me even more ... The saga continues and I'm not giving up this easy even if it's only a one night stay.

NP. Keep us updated. I had another issue at the same time I was emailing them RE this one where 100K points disappeared into thin air between Hilton and Virgin. Thankfully, that issue was resolved, contributing to me letting this one go. I have no chance of hitting Diamond this year but may come close next year so would rather stay in their good books as best I can.

Not unless you actually need to stay in a hotel. Will most likely be cheaper for you to buy points during one of their sale promos than spending money for 5 nights.

Are the triple points meant to come through on a stay by stay basis? I see double points coded as HH2 GET MORE PROMOTION but I haven't seen triple points for any of my stays in the period

That is HH triple points. Your original base points + two times that!

Finally resolved after a desperate move of including the GM onto my constant emails to HHonors. Apparently the code was not setup properly on their system
