Many people do! In fact, I think from memory, HH now explain it at length in the Ts&Cs as they're probably fielding lots of calls about it!

Finally resolved after a desperate move of including the GM onto my constant emails to HHonors. Apparently the code was not setup properly on their system

Haven't been able to log in to HH since Macquarie card was activated
HH person on line very helpful and could see my account and bookings but had no idea what the access problem may be
Logged a tech fault with HH .. but thats not a lot of help when I need to be doing stuff…..

I have had problems with logging into Hilton Honors and booking a stay in UK, the hotel I wanted kept saying my dates were not available though dates either side were, then trying a bit later they would be there but when you went to book it would not proceed..definitley gremlins in the system, wrote to the hotel (no response) contact HH they did their best but could not see availability. Connected yesterday and was able to book, very frustrating but at least we are in now and confirmed

I booked Hilton osaka in May for december during one of their sales on a prepaid rate and I havent been charged yet. Has that happened to anyone else before?
My other prepaid rates for tokyo and niseko have been charged..

I have often not been charged until a week or so before the stay, even if the pre-pay booking was weeks earlier.

Yep got that too but I am only eligible to buy 20K points, signed up oh at the end of August so hopefully can buy his share too at end of September

Nice, good luck with the snow. Will be busy at that time of year, but is hopefully late enough that there will be a snow base. If you are renting use the nearby/associated shop and room charge EVERYTHING, including lift tickets as you get points on all of it! I made it to Gold once by Jan 3 from a HNiseko stay, and Diamond by 20th Jan!!
