Oh dear, I hope you don't have to slum it in J both ways . I suggest you try for only 127 as that is a day flight and you will not have to interrupt the F experience with sleep. Also, that will leave an additional seat free in F on 128 for my op-up!

looks like I am in J on the way home too. 13K at this stage so for anyone that wants it, 80A is open on 128!!! - Be quick.

Certainly not if flying whY, on my LHR-DXB flight breakfast was a muffin and cup of OJ .....

No text yet from the Upgrade Fairy but 25,000 points have gone and I have selected 1K for 127 . Wonder if I can do the degustation?

So that'll mean 11E for 128 unless I can persuade someone in the family to donate me the points for an upgrade with no immediate prospect of repayment, given that my next 2 int flights are on SQ and an EK classic award.

Anyone know the LAG rules between HKG and PVG?

I never got the text for either of my upgrades 127/128 I think it is an enhancement (to save money). See you on in the lounge or on board I am in 1A on 127.

Family points thing is sorted (who would have guessed a funeral is a good time for people to remember how much they love each other? ) but I am really tempted to stay in J on 128 to find out what the new breakfast offering is like. Now that really is a first world problem

I can categorically tell you already that the enhanced breakfast is both simpler and fairer to everyone.

There is enough of us guinea pigs in Emerald city to let you know the result without having to suffer along with us

You can also check-in any time on the same day at Hong Kong or Kowloon airport express (train) station.

I got a call as well. I may be paraphrasing slightly , but it was words to the effect of "when you get off your domestic flight, run like the wind to gate 15 for the bus to the international terminal and hopefully you will get through the security procedures in time for boarding".

My chances of any decent FLounging time seem slim I am full of first world problems today

Ahh. You're doing qf730. Same as my connection on Saturday. It a stupid connection, really. But I can't fly the night before, and I doubt Qantas would let me change without masses of fees. Hopefully Monday's weather keeps up, as qf730 landed at 8:15.
