Ahh. You're doing qf730. Same as my connection on Saturday. It a stupid connection, really. But I can't fly the night before, and I doubt Qantas would let me change without masses of fees. Hopefully Monday's weather keeps up, as qf730 landed at 8:15.

I did that flight on Sun. All I managed to have was a bowl of fruits before boarding was called. Sit at the counter and be nice to one of the staff, she offered to fast track my breakfast but I declined.

Lol they were in fine form a few weeks back denying an IB elite travelling on a codeshare flight. You wouldn't want to be in the wrong!

Eventful morning so far. Guested a Canadian tourist into the ADL QP because she was being given a hard time at the desk and she's flying all the way to east coast Canada. Heard a colleague being paged as last to board the 6am flight to MEL. And a 15 min delay on my flight "due to Syd air traffic control" followed by a further 15 min delay "due to operational reasons". which turned out to be a medical emergency when I asked. Not the pilot, cos I asked that too.

So far I am being assured that there are several people connecting to 127 from ADL and it won't leave without us. But I've checked and there's also a CX flight at 1400 if necessary

I was thinking you'd be gone by now. But looks like you're still sitting around waiting for SYD ATC. I really hope I don't get the same rubbish on Saturday. ATC delays really are a joke when you end up landing almost at the scheduled time.

I am sure QF will do a better job than many. A couple months ago AY completely cough*ed it up on me, nearly an hour late, ran like, hitting people from the two furtherest gates in HEL and missed it 'by this much'. Apparently they were unaware there was a delay and several misconnected pax. Still fighting them for EU compensation for the massive delay. Oh and SJ too... gotta love EU regs.

In the F lounge just had breakfast yum pancakes were great, VH OQD is operating 127 today. Hopefully I see Anna on board as 730 showing an 840 arrival. See you all in HKG.
