Hope you all have a fabulous time in HKG , one of my favourite cities.

Mr jojen and I flew out of HKG on Sunday on our way to Tokyo . We did our own lounge crawl starting at 7.15am we managed to visit three lounges before our flight.

First was The Wing where a glass of champagne and a Cathay delight were sampled, along with some dumplings. It was then off to The Pier, which we were very disappointed with, so did not stay long.

Next was The Bridge which we thought was the best. Even better when our flight was delayed for 45mins and we we're able to enjoy more champagne !!!!

Have a great time.

jojen

I'm currently performing pre visit tests at the wing F lounge.
Three champers....
Moet, Peninsula (home brand of the hotel I assume) and delamotte.

Ooh and I was just approached by a staff member. There is caviar tasting today ;) Venise by Calvisius

That is really good of you to go out of your way to do this for us.

Your efforts are appreciated. ;)

Also enjoying Caviar :D

sure thing count me in

Yes I am already here (HKG) and subject to what is eventually agreed for dinner count me in for lunch or has anyone considered the beer fest starts on Friday at East TST along with the dragon boat races. I will PM my details. HKG is full of people coming to compete in the dragon boat races. Lots of foreign accents including USA and Canada.

127 was a good flight. Had the tasting menu and won't need to eat again today :)

After all the QF hassles this morning connecting from ADL (a third delay onboard when a locker wouldn't shut and then a weather delay at SYD), now my carefully selected CX flight to PVG has been cancelled and I have been put on KA instead to PVG. Sigh.

Currently enjoying the delights of the Regal Airport Hotel. Not quite caviar and champagne but good enough.

OK, this sounds good. What time are you thinking? Maybe meet at your hotel at 12 noon, get some lunch, then do some dragon boats and beerfesting? What do you and MickeyC reckon?

The food menu (not buffet) was also tried by Flashback and myself in the Wing's Haven. Was very nice.

We're in for a good Sunday!

The buffet looked fairly decent too IMHO, so I'll be trying that out....
