How do Hilton treat you as an Elite?

Conrad Nusa Dua (Bali)
Booked- 5 and 7 nights, lowest prepaid rate, base room
Received- 2x top floor king ocean view suites with private plunge pool.
Great hotel, excellent service, amazing diamond care. Full lounge access of course, and all sorts of other little benefits.

Darwin Hilton update.
In the lounge, on the tables, are a card advising that hot restaurant breakfast is available at a $10pp (usually $29pp) but on check out, we didn't get charged at all.

Property: Hilton Wangfujing Beijing
Status: Gold
Stay: Early August
Booked: Base Twin Bed

Received: Executive Twin Bed 15th floor
Rate: Circa AUD$220 / CNY 1026 (inc taxes + surcharges 15%)

Up to the expected high standard of Asian Hiltons, the room was clean quite large and impressive, service extremely good, aside from a hiccup at check-in where no-one seemed to know what to do with a guest who wanted to check in (me!). Was whisked up to the exec lounge for check-in and all was well.

The exec lounge was large and had a decent array of nibbles and drinks. Have to point out that breakfast in the exec lounge was so good that I never felt the need to join the queue downstairs - multiple choices both western and asian and even an egg chef in the mornings. No hint of getting charged for coffee or breakfast in the main restaurant if I'd elected to go there.

Exec lounge staff were really excellent - english language was good (not expected by me this far north) and the different staff members were extremely helpful in any number of ways outside of the running of the lounge itself.

Booked: King Deluxe Govt Rate
Received: Relaxation Suite

Staying tonight. Initially allocated a Deluxe Plus on Floor 42 - this was the room showing as available at OLCI.
Work trip but daughter (at SYD Uni ) has invited herself to stay for the night. I asked very politely at check-in if there were any larger rooms available due to her last minute decision to join me. Two taps on the keyboard and I was given the Relaxation Suite :D
Very efficient check-in Diamond benefits pointed out including the Glass Breakfast. Staff member mentioned that there are now lots of unhappy Golds.
Prawns in the Exec Lounge (if that's your thing, not mine)
One happy little Diamond here :D

Nice pick-up. Congrats! If H-SYD dropped the coffee charge, it'd almost be enough to swing us back, but +1 just said this morning that she'd like the IC with Club for our next SYD visit!

Great, two nice upgrades on the same evening. Good to see.

I think my upgrade was due to the 25th stay milestone. No gifts in sight though but I'm happy enough as long as I don't drop to anything below the relaxation room.
Just out of interest, has anyone received any recognition in the form of gifts for their milestone stay with HSYD?

Nothing here. This isn't a milestone stay tonight. Would be in the high teens. But nothing like HSW with the gift.

I think that I've missed the bit about having milestone stays. What are the milestones at Hilton now?

I am 3 for 3 on upgrades at HSW, 1 paid and 2 points
All were to relaxation suites from standard room and included club access.

Once as diamond and twice as gold
Staying there in 2 weeks on points so fingers crossed

So where do golds get breakfast assuming they don't score an exec room upgrade?

Wow. That must be confusing (for both customers and staff policing the lounge). Are golds also restricted to continental items?

Yep Golds definitely just in the lounge now. HSW definitely the best hilton in Australia IMO, still offering that awesome buffet breakfast, albeit in a slightly different location now.
