Sydney, it's rare for a gold not to get EL access (maybe never?), I'd say now its Gold gets EL access regardless of upgrade with Breakfast in the EL

Can confirm again the barista coffee tax at HSW is waived for diamonds so we can add another Aussie Hilton to that list.

Now I hope to achieve same positive result with the main offender, HSYD next week but I suspect it won't easy.

The tax is still applied to diamonds at the Hilton BNE.

This year I got it waved at PER, ADL, HSP and recently HSW.

You can add Hilton Cairns to your list of coffee tax exempt Hilton properties.

DT MEL only offers self-serve coffee at breakfast, similar machine to the one used in some Hilton lounges. Not the best quality but it's acceptable for DT.

No luck with HSYD though, the restaurant manager himself informed me that coffee is chargeable despite my lame protest that they should align themselves with HSW, HBNE, etc. Will speak to the GM next...not giving up.

Yep, when I stayed at BNE earlier this month I was told it was only the filtered coffee for me!

.... not to mention the prawns in the EL (since recently reappeared), and the oysters at HSYD. And, the Glass breakfast about turn (although I'm glad that it's back).
