Anyone with a Woolies card applied for this one? did you get your points? I'm not sure given the T&C's about previous HSBC cards. I have a Woolies card too.
I too would be keen to know this. If its not in the terms then....

Hi, with regards to the lounge passes, what are the expiry dates on them please? Oh, applied for my card online sunday night, received it thursday in the mail. Must be pumping them out before the laws change maybe.

The passes are valid for 12 months. You do not need to be a member to use the pass. Whoever has the pass can go into the lounge. They do not need to be a member or be with a member.

If you time it right, you can keep the pass for another visit. As you pass the reception keep out of arms reach and if the area is busy some times the staff wont reach to take the pass. Its worked several times for me, remember to smile, be courteous and look into their eyes!

Interesting point. I'll post a reply once my application is approved (or not).

I have a Woolworths MasterCard, and received the 20,000 HSBC points within a few days of the first statement.

i'd really like to know if the invitations allow for the card holder to enter and also bring a guest? ie 2 pax for 1 invitation or is it simple 1 pass per person, per entry?

Re: HSBC QF Platinum - 20K points (+2 QP passes) - $199 Annual Fee [extended] to 30/0

Definitely one perso per pass. No guest unless you use two passes.

My first post so hopefully not frowned upon for mentioning a QC entry work around or being slightly off topic...

One trick to get other ppl into QC is to be-friend another lounge user once you are inside and see if they are happy to wander up to customer service and say they have a guest arriving shortly. They leave your guests' name with customer service and you text your friend with the member's name and say come on in. I was flying with a few friends back from Tokyo in Feb and as the QC membership only allows you to have 1 guest I was fortunate to bump into someone I already knew who was happy to help.

Back on topic > Does anyone know what the minimum annual income requirement is for the HSBC QFF Platinum Visa ??

I just tried to cancel my card - they waved the annual fee so I kept it to get the 2 QC invites.

Would anyone know if the points come on the first or second statement? Had the card for more than 3 weeks and still have not received my first statement.

Mine came on 1st statement after about 30 days. Were credited straight away.

what's everyone doing with this card after the sign on booty...? Is there value in this card to keep it past the first year...?

I'm not really a churner in regard to point earning cards, but I am looking for an alternative to my ANZ Qantas Frequent Flyer & Westpac Earth cards...? I guess if I flog off the passes on ebay then this card has a cost of $100 p.a which is pretty good for a $1/1pt visa card, not as good as an QEDRCC but not that shabby either I guess.

So is anyone retaining this card after the bonii booty has posted...?

Edit: Might think about applying for this one if my QEDRCC gets cancelled for business use, would be an easy swap and the 300k points limit would not be an issue for me...
