I'm feeling a bit sad ...[My SC's are getting wiped today... =( ]

A bit late...but... Off went my 4095 SC at the start of the month. Noticed that was my 10yr anniversary with QF and a grand total of just over 36,000

Thats great news, 36,000! wowsers, i just looked at mine 22,500 i have in the 10 years I have been with QF aswell, it's actually amazing how quick they rack up, if your always flying, some better than others

If things go according to plan I'll be hitting PG end of Nov with 6 months left after that to re-qual P1. Not sure if I'll get there or not but enjoying the ride so far.

Today I say bye bye to 1672 SCs. By then end of Sept I will have said hello to 870 SCs though... Could be a P1 year for the first time....

My SCs are gone (well they still count towards the lifetime tally). Still yet to decide whether to retain WP or not. It does depend on what trips I have coming up.

Would like to get to the FLounge at least once for lunch/dinner.

Alas today I say farewell to my biggest ever annual total - 1605 hard won SCs. Two overseas trips (UK and US) and the seemingly-endless Dash 8 bus trips between SYD and CBR.

Let's see how I go with trying to keep WP in 2017. 50-50 shot at this stage.

Well today I say goodbye to my smallest total in four years - 720. Luckily I seem to have been comped WP and next year SCs should be back up again :)

120 SC gone for me.

Seems they have been kind and left me at Platinum for the year ahead.:D

I had a lot of QF flights through he year though most were award flights and I did make LTG through the year though.

I gave back 600 SCs yesterday and will drop to LTG when the Qantas wheel sorts itself out. Can't complain - 10 years or so at Platinum and now the LTG safety net. This year I've had 24 interstate flights, where most of the SCs were earned, 6 weeks in South Africa, 15 weeks in Europe and North America and most international travel in First and Business using points or on non-OW airlines. Next year will be less travel but still another 16 weeks over our winter in Europe and North America with a cruise from Stockholm to Montreal in between. So life is good and I'll not miss the first class lounge and other benefits too much.

800sc gone. My biggest haul to date on my lowest flying year in a few years. Nearly all flights on QF, and I got lucky with a few full Y class fares on multi leg fares to rural QLD that ended up being great status runs at employers expense. Next year looking mostly like QFd at 10sc points a leg to retain gold:-|

1430 for me this year. I overshot it a little, but every SC helps with the LTG superannuation plan.

I have the same plan. 760 SCs to LTG after 13+ years travelling in Y domestic. LTG is the main goal for me but will lose about 1600 SCs at end of January highest total in awhile.

That dreaded moment is approaching again!

1290 SC gets wiped tonight.

2016 was a substantially quieter year than 2015, due to taking a few award flights to and from Europe during the year.

How is everyone else fairing ?

4,295 QF sc's get wiped tonight. Disappointed with myself that I didn't look for something worthwhile to do with the 695 sc's surplus to requirements.

My crash this year was the end of a slippery slide. Quick ride to WP then a slow but steady slide down through SG, one year comped, PS and now back to where I started at NB with the only saving grace a few years of QP in the bank. Still have a healthy points balance and more international J to come so not all bad.

It's interesting that quite a few people seem to have 31 Dec as the last day of their FF year - or is it just that the 'more significant' end-of-month-cough-end-of-year date has brought folks out? Mine is 31 August.

Does anyone know how it's set? I was presuming it's the anniversary of the month joined - but I have no record of the month I joined.

For me it was end of month joined in 1997.
I had joined AN GW in 1995.
My anniversary is end Jul each year.
This is my begining of third year as QF SG.
But as I dont travel that far, cant see a lot of benefit of SG. Will fly J at a cost of max Aud$2k Au to NZ each year, at least I keep being PS for life.
700 and 885 QF SC went back to QF these past 2 years. QF will take back 260 SC from me end of Jul 2017.
But as I will fly only J once a year, its not that bad.
